In January of 2023, students from Stuyvesant High School's Honor Society (ARISTA) began volunteering with the 9 Million Reasons (9MR) organization. Entering into the summer of 2023, this group of students expanded to other schools across New York. As a result, the NYC Students for 9MR came to exist in order to better organize student volunteering at the 9 Million Reasons food pantry. Our goals are to further expand the program and continue to help as many patrons at the food pantry as possible. We welcome all high schoolers across the city to come help us fulfill these goals!!
