I'm an associate professor in the philosophy department at the University of Delaware, working on the philosophy of physics. My current research focuses on the foundations of quantum field theory, classical mechanics, and string theory. I am also interested in philosophical questions about laws, explanation, causation, inductive logic, and intertheoretic relations.

I studied physics and philosophy as an undergraduate at Harvard before completing my PhD at Princeton in 2014 under the direction of Hans Halvorson.
