Hills North:

Derwent Valley, Crummock and Dalton wards

The Derwent Valley ward will need transport.

Some settlements are not too far West and North up the A66 road from Keswick (Portinscale, Braithwaite, Thornthwaite).

Others mean heading south down Borrowdale towards the Honister Pass down the B5289 (Borrowdale Road), past Grange, Rosthwaite and Stonethwaite, Seathwaite and Seatoller. Seatoller is the last habitation in the ward. Gatesgarth Farm is more easily approached from the Buttermere side if it's snowy!
