NWDCN 2027 invites original, high-quality technical submissions addressing fundamental architectural, algorithmic, and practical challenges across the evolving cloud-edge ecosystem. A central mission of this workshop is to close the gender gap in complex systems engineering and foster robust collaborations. At least one author of every accepted paper must be a woman researcher working in a relevant technical field. Technical contributions, attendance, and panel participation from all members of the global research community are explicitly welcomed.
We invite regular research papers and short work-in-progress submissions spanning the following technical domains (but not limited to):
➢ Next-Gen Wireless & 6G Architectures: Terahertz (THz) communications, URLLC, Next-Gen MIMO, and software-defined edge-cloud continuums.
➢ Network Intelligence (NetAI): Generative AI, LLMs, and decentralized machine learning for intent-driven networking, proactive routing, and automated traffic engineering.
➢ Sustainability & Resource Optimization: Carbon-aware distributed algorithms, energy-harvesting IoT protocols, green network policies, and processing-in-memory (PIM) frameworks.
➢ Security, Privacy & Trust: Zero-trust architectures, differential privacy for data streams, secure federated learning, blockchain consensus, and quantum-resilient overlays (QKD).
➢ Cyber-Physical Systems & Verticals: Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs), Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) meshes, smart grid systems, remote digital healthcare, and Industry 5.0 networks.
