NWA Mutual Aid began during the onset of COVID-19 in the U.S. We first launched our Facebook group, which grew to 1,000 overnight! From there, community started connecting. We started doing food deliveries. And folks started finding ways to apply mutual aid in their lives.

On April 30, 2020, we did our first Hillbilly Hospitality Food Drive delivery. From that point on, we've been feeding Northwest Arkansas! Our neighbors, friends, family and community members have helped source items when needed, donated goods and funds, and delivered shelf-stable food to folks in our community.
