VISION

A library that is completely equipped with resources and new technologies that are supportive to all center of excellence development of the university that can compete nationally and internationally.

MISSION

To strengthen the competence and leadership of the students, members of the faculty, research, extension and training groups, by making available and accessible for their use a strong collection of resources and trained personnel to serve them and facilities and services that will encourage their full utilization.

GOAL

To provide an excellent opportunity for the Filipino students to update their knowledge on the relevant information in line

with their fields of interest and expertise, from printed to digital, to be able to compete globally along with the rest of the

world and grow to become productive citizens of the world.

OBJECTIVES

To select and acquire books and other Information sources supportive of the university curricula.

To organize the library holdings according to an accepted classification scheme in order to ensure maximum utilization of

library materials.

To provide efficiently the following library services:

Guidance in the proper circulation and access through:

Reference services;

Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI);

Social media

Assistance in the clientele’s research activities in the library.

Assistance to the faculty & staff in obtaining necessary reference materials and getting

posted about new library acquisitions.

Preservation of books and other library resources through binding and minor repairing of

worn-out but still useful books.

Maintenance of a regular weeding program to keep the library collection relevant and up to

date.

Preservation and organization of significant items/collection that contributed to the growth

and development of the institution.

Inculcation of the value of books and other media as well as good reading and the library

citizenship.
