RULES & REGULATION
INNOVATION COMPETITION
The Innovation Competition is open to all participants under the following participant levels: Professional, Tertiary and Young Innovator.
Participation is open on an individual or group basis, with a maximum of six (6) participants per group. Groups may consist of students, lecturers, professionals, practitioners, industry representatives, or a combination of eligible participants.
All innovation ideas and products submitted must be original works and must not be copied or adapted from any source without proper ownership or permission. If any participant is found to have violated this requirement, the entry will be automatically disqualified, and any awards granted may be withdrawn. All payments made are strictly non-refundable.
An invention or innovation may be presented in the form of a product, prototype, model, or idea, provided that it is suitable for evaluation by the judging panel.
The organiser reserves the right to use all submitted materials for documentation, publicity, and promotional purposes related to the competition.
All decisions made by the organiser and judging panel are final. No appeal will be entertained.
The organiser reserves the right to amend any rules, regulations, or guidelines where necessary.
REQUIRED SUBMISSION MATERIALS
Each entry is required to submit the following:
Innovation Summary
Innovation Presentation Video
Proof of Payment (applicable to paid entries only)
Participants under the Young Innovator level are free of charge and are therefore not required to submit proof of payment.
a. Summary
The summary must be prepared according to the prescribed format and guidelines and submitted via the designated submission link on or before 31th May 2026.
b. Innovation Presentation Video
The innovation presentation video must follow the prescribed guidelines and format and must be submitted via the designated submission link on or before 31th May 2026.
c. Proof of Payment / Payment Receipt
Participants are required to submit the payment receipt together with their competition submission through the designated category link.
AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES
The competition will feature the following special awards:
Best of Each Category Award
Best Young Innovator Award
Best of the Best Award
Winners of these awards will receive a trophy and a e-certificate.
In addition, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards will also be presented.
For Professional and Tertiary participants, award recipients will receive physical medals and e-certificates.
For Young Innovators level, no physical medal will be provided for standard participation or Gold, Silver, and Bronze recognition. Instead, they will receive an e-certificate only, which will be sent to the group leader’s email address.
If a Young Innovators entry wins the Best Young Innovators Award and/or the Best of the Best Award, the winner will receive the respective physical award and e-certificate.
Only one (1) prize set will be provided for each winning entry. Any request for additional trophies, medals, or e-certificates for group members must be made directly to the organiser after the closing ceremony and will be subject to additional charges.
