INFO MEETING MONDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH 2025 2:30 PM
The Aerial Robotics Team (The Flying Cats) designs, builds, and tests custom drones to compete in the Aerial Robotics In STEM Education (ARISE) competition and the UAS4STEM competition. Students learn about aviation flight rules and safety, drone physics, digital electronics and programming, teamwork, and collaboration skills. The competition comprises autonomous and piloted flights, engineering documentation, and a design presentation. The team meets after school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Applications are accepted during the first weeks of school each fall. No experience is required, but we encourage an interest in drones!
