The NU Women in Business Club is proud to support the female-identifying & business-oriented community of Northeastern through a variety of professional and personal development channels.

We are here to build and uplift our members to reach new heights.

Professional Development

Whether it's developing new skills or honing old ones, we want to help you get ahead in the business world through workshops, presentations, and group activities.

Inspiration

We draw inspiration from incredible alumni and women in the Boston business community through our guest speakers programs. Through these events, we seek to leave all our members feeling motivated to be their best self.

Community

Our organization strives to create a space where members can freely express themselves and empower each other. This may mean a familiar face in class, a study buddy, or someone new to sit next to you at meetings!

Mentorship

Our mentorship program pairs experienced members with our younger members to help guide each other through everything, from finding the best place to eat on campus to searching for a co-op in our Peer2Peer program. We also connect our mentors with professional resources and recruiters through our Peer2Prof program.

Entrepreneurship and Service Event with Give n' Glow

Samantha Asprelli, founder of Give 'n Glow, shared her experience of building a non-profit dedicated to empowering women in need.

Finance & Accounting with KPMG

Claire Frieden, KPMG Recruiter, and Alyssa Carreau, KPMG Recruiter and Senior Manager, spoke with us about their careers, the recruitment process, and KPMG opportunities.

Headshot Social with NUPic

We collaborated with NUPic, the Northeastern Undergraduate Photography Club to take headshots for some of our general members and Executive Board.

Harvard Intercollegiate Business Convention

Harvard University Undergraduate Women in Business Club invited us to attend their annual Intercollegiate Business Convention. Our members were able to network and hear from speakers from a wide array of industries and backgrounds.

Goal Setting Vision Board Workshop

We discussed the importance of setting goals to stay on track and keep ourselves organized with our general members. We provided vision board-making supplies and our members shared their goals.
