Our show is full steam ahead this season and we are so excited to present Sweet Dreams: A Nutcracker Remixed - to a live audience on November 27th and 28th at the Hult Center's Silva Concert Hall.
The Hult Center has very specific COVID protocols we are required to comply with for the event. This information applies to all dancers and all audience members.
You must be prepared to show your proof of vaccination or a negative test taken on Nov 24 or later in order to enter the Hult Center. Please note these details for dancers versus audience members:
Dancers performing in the show may be tested on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday to be eligible to perform in the Saturday or Sunday show (or both.)
Audience members who will be attending the Sunday show are limited to receiving your test on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to be eligible for entry into the Hult Center. They are not eligible for the extension into Wednesday for testing.
Below is a quick summary.
Proof of vaccination can be by physical card or in digital format (i.e., on your phone). To be accepted as fully vaccinated, two weeks must have gone by since the last dose (2nd vaccination for Pfizer and Moderna or single shot from J&J.) If you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to complete further testing.
Testing will be available onsite at the Hult Center in the Jacobs Gallery on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday of show week. Advanced scheduling will be available. We will announce as soon as they begin taking appointments, or you can check their website. https://book.curative.com/sites/33888. If you choose, you can complete your COVID test at another professional testing center, but the test must be taken on November 24 or later. Tests taken before November 24 will not be accepted. At-home test results will not be accepted.
The tests performed at the Hult Center are conducted by Curative Health. The process involves a non-invasive nasal swab.
Please have your proof of vaccination or test results ready to present when you arrive at the Hult Center so you can enter the building.
All dancers and audience members must wear masks while inside the building. Dancers will be allowed to remove their masks during their performances--they will be removed and put back on in the wings directly before and after their dances.
