About Me

So, my name is Nuri Valcarcel, I'm a teen and I live in Spain. I am a Christian, which means I believe God saved me from my sins and that I'm going to Heaven when I die. I love taking pictures of animals and mostly flowers, but other nature-y things too. It's just a hobby, really. I love reading (The Land of Stories, Alex Rider) and listening to podcasts (Six Minutes, Wordtastic, The Last Dog...) and music. When I grow up, I'd like to be an English teacher, either here in Spain or in the US. If I teach here in Spain, I will most probably join my dad's company, Bschool. If I teach in the US, then I don't know!

I used to be homeschooled, until I entered public school. It was actually kind of weird, and I made a couple of fun acquaintances. Some of the kids in my former class were very annoying, but this year I changed class, thank goodness.

I have a dog (Cooper) and a chicken (Selkie). We used to have 6 chickens, and then we got 4 more, after those died, but now we only have 1. We got the first 6 March 2020 (may they rest in peace). I have a dad, a mom, an older sister, and a younger brother. Papa's name is Josh, Mama's name is Marta, Jemi's name is Jemi (from Jemimah), and Josh's name is Josh Jr.!

My favorite color is yellow, and my favorite animal is the elephant. I don't even know why! They're just so majestic and tall! Plus, when they travel, they don't even have to pack a bag! They already have their trunk with them... I know, it's a terrible joke! Elephants are just really awesome and cute!

I started a podcast April 2021, and you can find out more here. I really love technology and stuff, and I'm usually solving problems for my family. Except my dad. I learn everything I know from him, although I have surprised him once or twice! I have even made a deal with my dad's mom (my grandma in the US). She'll give me piano lessons and I'll give her technology lessons. It's going to be so much fun! After I learn the basics of piano, I want to start violin.
