Campus to Country is our group responsible for maintaining ongoing relationships with partnering hospitals and universities, as well as researching the potential for large-scale commercialization of medical devices. In addition to supporting the long-term sustainability of our designs, the team investigates global health topics and medical background relevant to the projects our design groups are working on. Campus to Country meets weekly following our regular club meetings to collaborate, share updates, and plan next steps.
Podcast Trainings
Campus to Country supported the implementation of three design projects by creating podcast-based trainings tailored to each initiative. The podcasts were designed to provide accessible, context-specific guidance for healthcare workers and care providers, ensuring each project could be effectively integrated into clinical practice. To further support implementation, each project was also accompanied by an infographic with key information.
Campus to Country Presentation
At the IGH Summit in Ghana, a “Campus to Country” presentation was held highlighting global health issues relevant to Ghana. The collaborative discussion combating cholera was broken down into infastructure limitations, bioengieering solutions, and example filtration systems.
Pen Pal System
This year Campus to Country established the first pen pal system connecting students from Northeastern with students in Ghana through Whats App!
