On 8 April 2022, Bissalicus resigned from his position as Divine Minister of the Mansion Empire and created a breakaway state influenced by micronationalism. This initial entity was the Sammie Kingdom, in which Bissalicus appointed his dog Samuel as monarch while he served as prime minister. Soon dissatisfied with the idea of a canine monarch, he collaborated with Leonor Sander to form the Pre-Galactic Republic, a Star Wars–themed political entity. A Jedi Order was created at the same time, initially composed only of Sander, Bissalicus, and Samuel. Sander initially opposed reducing her Downstairs Kingdom to vassal status, seeking to retain authority before ultimately siding with the Republic. Immediately after the Republic’s establishment, it declared war to annex the Mansion Empire, resulting in its defeat in what became known as the Galacto-Mansionite War, previously called the Territorial War of Batasan Hills. The rapid formation of messenger group chats facilitated the recruitment of citizens, senators, military figures, and government representatives for the Republic. Within this structure, Sander became co-founder and Jedi General, while the Republic operated under a despotic Supreme Chancellor, a Jedi High Council composed mostly of titular members, regional governors, and a limited-function Galactic Senate.

This early period, called the Messenger Era, comprised several agendas within the Republic. The High Republic, from 29 April to 1 June 2022, emerged after a civil conflict between Republican factions and groups labeled as “cringe factions,” and drew inspiration from the literary series of the same name. The Galactic Republic, from 1 June to 22 August 2022, became the longest agenda, notable for efforts to retaliate against the Russian Federation’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine and for the development of missile technologies. The Established Galactic Empire, from 22 to 23 August 2022, marked the beginning of monarchist governance and the dissolution of the Senate. During this period, territorial claims expanded beyond the Solar System and an official army was formed. The First Galactic Empire followed from 23 August to 5 September 2022, the Second Galactic Empire from 5 to 9 September 2022, and the Third Galactic Empire from 9 to 14 September 2022, during which the government developed a fascination for Germanization and Charlemagne-era romanticism. This latter period is particularly remembered for the Choo-Choo Train Wars.
During the Third Galactic Empire, Saragossa rose to prominence and created what it regarded as the most extensive and functional military in micronationalism. This force, called the Choo-Choo Train, served as the Empire’s mercenary defense unit and was prepared for combat. Among its most notable figures was Rafa the Great. Internal controversy soon developed when two senior officials repeatedly demanded symbolic “play-sacrifices,” involving voluntary participation by children, during defensive operations. This incited strong public objection and contributed to the outbreak of the Choo-Choo Train Wars. Resistance escalated within the critical territory of Dorf, beginning with the Shannite Rebellion. A local leader known as The Swine denounced the Emperor for spreading “malevolent ideas” and allegedly influencing the youth, even arming himself with hazardous items to ambush the mercenary unit at a school drop-off roundabout before faculty intervened. The Classix League capitalized on the situation, spreading misinformation that turned local parents against the Emperor. Faculty authorities eventually disbanded the mercenary force. Additional internal conflicts, such as the bloodless Santiago Rebellion, further weakened the unit, and any later attempts to revive it were ultimately disbanded.
Before these events, another smaller conflict developed concerning an individual called the Lanyard-puller. His partner condemned the conflict as “stupid” to protect him. The conflict ended when the Lanyard-puller sought peace. Later investigations revealed that he had never pulled any lanyards; instead, he had been framed by the Incel Salvator, who fabricated the entire narrative. This conflict is now remembered as the Lanyard Wars.
In 2022, during the period of the Third Galactic Empire under the rule of Bissalicus de Mon Mar, who at the time styled himself as Sheev Palpatine, a formal declaration of war was issued against an individual identified in Imperial archives as the Lanyard-puller. The stated casus belli was the alleged pulling of the Emperor’s lanyard, an act later attributed to Incel Salvator, who was also implicated in framing the Lanyard-puller. Following the declaration, the accused was brought before an imperial court, convicted, and sentenced. Proceedings were marked by the Lanyard-puller’s open dismissal of the tribunal, repeatedly stating through a Discord call that he “did not care” in the presence of both the presiding judge, William Mevd of Kamore, and Bissalicus, who together formed the entirety of the prosecutorial body. Records confirm that these three individuals constituted the full roster of attendees at the session. Less than a week later, the confrontation escalated into what became known as the Gym Flip-off of Dorf, triggered when the Lanyard-puller, responding to repeated inquiries from the Galactic Emperor about the lanyard incident, performed the Flip-off gesture. Although Bissalicus reported this action as further provocation, subsequent inquiry determined that Salvator had been the principal instigator of the conflict.
During his tenure at the Guild of the Pink Spiral, the academic setting in which the Lanyard Wars unfolded, Bissalicus de Mon Mar encountered a mercenary cohort composed of third- and fourth-grade pupils who identified themselves as The Choo-Choo Train and were actively seeking recruits. Bissalicus became the only individual to enlist and was immediately appointed commander, granting him unrestricted authority over the group’s activities. He proceeded to integrate the cohort into the Third Galactic Empire’s military structure, an action preceded by demands from two senior officials for “sacrifices” as a condition of their continued service. The Emperor agreed, initiating formalized efforts to identify suitable targets. Among the individuals marked was Fernader van Dorf, an upperclassman, though the only successful sacrifice involved one of Bissalicus’ classmates, who was ultimately released without consequence. Over the following weeks, the cohort conducted routine marches accompanied by chants and participated in self-defense drills under Bissalicus’ direction, focusing on standardized combat procedures and charging tactics, particularly in anticipation of unexpected aggression from members of the Classix League. One major display occurred when the cohort marched onto the middle school grounds, an area typically inaccessible to elementary and fourth-grade students except for designated academic purposes; numerous students recorded the event, creating a verifiable archive. Shortly thereafter, an upper-grade representative informed the Emperor of the preexisting prohibitions governing elementary students.
Within a short period, two resistance factions emerged in opposition to the Empire: the Shannite Rebellion and the Torres Rebellion. The Shannite Rebellion was led by Shannidis, a seventh-grade student who regularly denounced the Choo-Choo Train by shouting “Down with the Choo-Choo Train!” whenever encountering the Emperor. The Torres Rebellion, led by a Classix League member imperially designated as The Swine, constituted the more formidable opposition, having gained access to school-issued wooden staves and undergoing active combat training. The Swine was known for “a great many issues,” including an alleged preference for “dead memes” and “old jokes,” which caused frequent discord within his own league. He routinely provoked the Emperor and issued threats of war, eventually triggering open conflict. While traversing the roundabout connecting the main school grounds to the middle school, the Imperial army was ambushed by the Torrians and Shannidis, forcing a retreat as the insurgents advanced. Shannidis reportedly wielded a school-provided wooden two-handed sword originally intended as a stage prop. As the elementary dismissal bell rang, faculty members, including Bissalicus’ adviser, emerged to gather students. A discussion ensued between the adviser, the Emperor, and the Swine, during which Bissalicus was unjustly accused on the basis of the Classix League’s assertion that he had indoctrinated them in doctrines of sacrifice and warfare. The Swine’s aggression was the true catalyst for the conflict, but the incident influenced the Imperial army’s subsequent turn toward authoritarian tactics.
In the aftermath of these uprisings, the Imperial army remobilized and continued conducting sacrifices at the direction of senior members. Unverified accounts allege that certain Imperials executed rogue, unsanctioned acts, including assaults on their own peers. One such account describes an individual strangling a bystander during a sacrifice. Although some of these acts were verified, Bissalicus remained unaware of and uninvolved in them. Despite his protests, his adviser attributed responsibility to him and demanded the complete disbandment of the army, which he obeyed. This narrative was reportedly propagated by the Classix League, both due to its animosity toward the Emperor and its role as a witness to several incidents, claiming that these actions had “turned the tide in the worst way possible.” Though the League had minimal involvement in early Choo-Choo Train affairs and only became invested after the initial rebellions, the broader student body and faculty adopted its perspective, which misrepresented the Emperor’s intentions and knowledge.
By December 2022, preparations were underway for the school’s pre-Christmas program. Allegedly, the entirety of the Classix League accosted Bissalicus’ parents, presenting slanderous allegations regarding the Imperial army. His parents, according to Imperial accounts, accepted these accusations without scrutiny. Conversations between Bissalicus and his parents revealed distortions propagated by the League, including claims that elementary students had been instructed to avoid him and that the narrative conveyed to his parents was a heavily altered account. His parents attributed these issues to his supposed “dark proclivities” and instructed him to “control them.” This marked a period of decreasing autonomy and heightened oversight for Bissalicus, while the Classix League purportedly “continued to live merry, lavish lives as they actively socially bullied their enemy and ruined his life.” Disgruntled Imperials further alleged that school authorities were aware of the escalating bullying but made only minimal efforts to intervene, as the majority sympathized with the League. These limited measures ultimately proved ineffective, as each time the adviser attempted to address the mistreatment, the League intensified their actions, believing themselves justified. Amid this turmoil, Bissalicus maintained one positive relationship: Faverus Victor van Dorf, later recognized as a hero of Saragossa. Van Dorf alone remained uncertain of the reasons for the mistreatment and consistently refused to participate in the bullying throughout the conflict.

During the Third Empire, Bissalicus also created his first Discord account. A server was launched with a membership smaller than that of the messenger platform, reportedly surpassing 35 members. New connections were made within this community, and the Empire transitioned through a series of agendas. The Franco-Roman Empire, from 14 September to 2 October 2022, marked the end of the Messenger Era and the first claim to both Frankish and Roman lineage. The Tamrielic Empire, from 2 October to 11 November 2022, became the first truly fictional agenda, establishing a bicameral legislative system and initial judicial courts. This was followed by the Reikland, from 11 November to 6 December 2022, inspired by Warhammer Fantasy, and by Reikhlændia, from 6 to 8 December 2022, an enhanced continuation. The Ausreich, from 8 to 25 December 2022, initiated deliberate Germanization and orchestrated the ousting of Otochoy, Emperor of the Mansion Empire. Neuosterreich, from 25 to 29 December 2022, completed this Germanization process. The Sacred Federative Roman Empire, from 29 December 2022 to 21 January 2023, was an Asian micronation with strong German influences, a new constitution, and a unique deliberative branch responsible for electing successors. This period also saw political opposition to the People’s Republic of China and support for the Republic of the Philippines.
On 18 December 2022, under the Ausreich, Otochoy was deceived into signing a document that dismantled the Mansion Empire and the Mansion State entirely, enabling Saragossa to evolve from a nanonation into a full micronation. Shortly afterward, on 19 December 2022, the Emperor was accused of communicating with someone labeled a “pedophile,” who was in reality the Premier of the USR, a Romanian-British citizen of similar age. Under pressure, the Emperor abdicated and appointed his ceremonial child Adrien I as successor, before returning and reclaiming the throne on Christmas Day.
Subsequent transitions restored a Star Wars–inspired democracy, though aligned with Sith traditions. This gave rise to the Sith Republic of Dromund Kaas (17 February to 4 March 2023), the Most Serene Republic of the Coruscant (4 March to 14 May 2023), and the Immaculate Republic of the Coruscant (14 May to 9 September 2023), which is remembered for the major Coruscant-Classix War.
The Triple Republic period that followed saw prolonged governance struggles, frequent elections, and cycles of ineffective leadership. Bissalicus became the stabilizing figure within the cabinet. Adrien McGill became Grand Director-General on 2 April 2023 but was removed by Bissalicus, triggering the Snap Election of the Coruscant on 28 April 2023 and the election of Herr Shadoww. Shadoww was more effective, declaring war on the Classix League on 21 May 2023, but later disappeared from Discord, leading to the election of Adolph von Salads on 9 July 2023. His administration was largely symbolic. The nation briefly shifted to an imperial monarchy called the Weimar Union; Bissalicus, acting disinterestedly, declared Adolph von Salads emperor on 10 September 2023, marking the first monarchy unrelated to the Mon Mar house. His rule was unstable, marked by misguided policies, and eventually reversed when Bissalicus returned from a European tour and MicroCon to depose him and retake the throne.
With the commencement of the school's summer recess in 2023, concomitant governmental restructuring occurred within the Empire, resulting in the establishment of three distinct Republics. The formal initiation of hostilities transpired during the incumbency of President Darth Ertharossa, marked by his declaration of war against the Classix League on 21 May 2023, identified by him as 'MWS Class 6,' the former academic cohort of Bissalicus. In response, the newly reconstituted Imperial forces were mobilized, and intermicronational assistance was solicited. Bissalicus justified the appeal for intermicronational engagement on the premise that the League, presuming their cognizance of micronational affairs, might have engaged in denunciation and disparagement of micronationalism within the Philippine context. Contrary to these apprehensions, such developments did not materialize during the conflict, much to the relief of Coruscant's allies.
Precisely 15 days prior to the formal declaration of war, Bissalicus personally delivered an ultimatum to the League, demanding acknowledgement of their alleged 'slanderous deeds' to the entirety of the parent and faculty community which he asserted 'were deceived by those who hated him,' under penalty of facing military action and potential defamation trials, which they would subsequently dismiss for the same duration. Subsequently, Bissalicus embarked on a journey to Europe for MicroCon 2023, while sustaining communication via the micronation's Discord server. During his sojourn, no military advances were recorded, ostensibly to facilitate his enjoyment of the trip and his participation in MicroCon. Upon his return, the new academic year had officially commenced. Tensions between Bissalicus and the League remained consistent with the preceding academic year, and possibly intensifying. By this juncture, the central chain of command had been identified. Leading the male contingent was Iustadu van Dorf, characterized by Bissalicus as the 'only intelligent man, with an astonishing worldview, however blinded by hate for a man who should have been the least of his problems.' The female leadership comprised the Van Dorfs Shartheix, the 'flaming tongue,' Sabrina, the 'cold-hearted' and Soux, the 'snarky.' This trio of friends, were, in Bissalicus' estimation, 'diligent divided, but unfathomable united.' The sole non-aligned commander was Sleepius van Dorf, the 'shortest man in the class.'
Republic activity until 12 October 2023 primarily revolved around preparations for a confrontation that ultimately did not occur, particularly in the weeks immediately preceding that date. Veterans of the Choo-Choo Train, demonstrating loyalty to Bissalicus, were reinstated as military officials, assuming command ranks. Dormant members from the Messenger era were reactivated and assigned analogous ranks, while relatives and supporters were conscripted from the citizenry and governance of the nascent Republics. At this juncture, the number of adherents for each faction was approximately equivalent. As the date of 12 October approached, Bissalicus, reportedly experiencing 'increasing mental distress,' initiated the drafting of an affidavit intended for submission to either the Philippine National Police or the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). This document contained the full legal names and residential addresses of the female commanders of the League, supported by relevant penal and civil provisions of the Philippine legal code substantiating its contents and purpose. Concurrently during the drafting of the affidavit, he ousted Weimar Emperor Adolph von Salads, the last elected leader and first monarch who wasn't Bissalicus, and subordinate to the League, from his position in the newly-proclaimed Weimar Union on 21 September 2023, and assumed the throne under the name Byeah Bissalicus.
In the period immediately preceding 12 October, the Emperor, experiencing a nadir in his mental state, reportedly commenced a campaign of communication directed toward the commanders against whom he had formulated an affidavit. A tactical misstep was allegedly committed when he disclosed excerpts of said affidavit, purportedly to substantiate his intention to pursue legal action. It is asserted that he also persistently requested their addresses, though not their full names as they were all classmates. Furthermore, he purportedly confided in Adolph von Salads, who initially maintained neutrality in the interpersonal conflict. Shartheix was, at this juncture, considered 'the last enemy of the Republic', subsequent to the purported withdrawal of others due to apprehension for their personal safety. This designation was primarily attributed to the intense animosity he harbored towards her. Subsequently, his actions, encompassing the aforementioned affidavit excerpts and his communication with Salads, were digitally recorded via screenshots.
On 12 October 2023, a sequence of events unfolded. He was transported to the residence of Leonor Sander, his cousin, where he awaited the arrival of his parents, who, while unaware of the screenshots, possessed knowledge of the ongoing circumstances at the educational institution. Upon their arrival, a brief altercation ensued, precipitating an emotional response characterized by tears. During this episode, he purportedly expressed sentiments such as 'I don't want us to fight anymore' and 'They turned you against me, and you attacked my interests.' Eventually, he was consoled, and they returned to their domicile. Following dinner on Mon Mar, his mother received the aforementioned screenshots. Observers have noted a rapid transformation in her demeanor, transitioning from maternal to judicial in nature. A more protracted disagreement ensued, during which she reportedly ceased to be receptive to his explanations. In a state of heightened emotion, she allegedly exclaimed 'Holy ****! My son is not being bullied, he IS the bully!'
It became evident that, despite a yearlong period during which he was subjected to unmitigated social intimidation, which was ineffectually addressed by an educational institution with presumed awareness, with blame being frequently directed towards him, his personality, and his avocations, his perspective would remain unheard. To the present day, it is widely posited that his objective was to 'end the conflict and distrust of his family,' which was purportedly being 'soiled' by the opposing faction, yet to no avail. Official records suggest that each time he sought counsel from his advisor, he was merely instructed to 'check himself' and 'reflect,' based on his reputation for being 'annoying,' although it is acknowledged that personality traits, even if perceived as 'annoying' in a victim, do not serve as justification for any form of intimidation. There were instances when she would attempt to remind the class of respect, which was fruitless, as they always immediately knew who was the subject matter, and state their reasoning for their mistreatment of him, which was obviously his personality and reportedly also because they thought he was 'weird.' Bissalicus, currently a 'reformed man,' recalls his history as a physical aggressor within the Guilds of the Holy Spirit and the Per Bend Shield and characterizes the conflict as an "ex-bully being bullied back into bullying".

On 12 October 2023, the Adolphine Exile occurred when the Emperor’s mother, under influence of the Classix League’s “flaming tongue,” insisted he delete his Discord account. He complied, transferring server ownership to Lucas of Satoshi, who became regent.
Later in December 2023, the Emperor attempted to return, but Adolph Salads blocked this and notified a teacher, escalating the situation to parents despite the Emperor’s desire to disengage. This ended the Coruscant-Classix War. Meanwhile, the Emperor’s older brother misused an account to insult Regent Lucas de Satoshi, and although the account was supposed to be deleted, it remained active, later returned to Lucas. Lucas resumed his custodial leadership while the Emperor authorized the regency without informing Bizalicannus, an important political figure attempting to maintain the server during significant departures. After undergoing a period of “therapy” in 2024, the Emperor began reclaiming his lost institutions, with Discord being the final component restored. By this time, he pursued musical and Roblox-related projects. Several significant agendas followed: the Weimar Imperial Union (9 September to 12 October 2023), the Hohenstaufen Accord, the Hanseatic Union, and the Empire of the East Indies, which continued until 16 October 2024 and introduced a renewed Spanish influence.
Throughout 2024 and 2025, the nation moved away from fictional states and historical German structures, aligning itself more closely with local frameworks. This transition culminated on 16 October 2024 with the formation of the Empire of Nova Zaragoza, later renamed Nueva Saragossa around January 2025. The Empire represented itself not as a successor to the Philippines but as a continuation of the overlords historically tied to its territorial objectives. The Sith Order underwent major reforms, becoming the Inquisition and later the Order of the Golden Fleece, which by 2025 had become the most successful in recruitment.
The Empire participated in and won its fifth military conflict, the Ninth Crusade, initiated against an individual referred to as Satan. Although Bissalicus claimed similarities between this person and the Biblical Satan, evidence was not credible and his behavior did not resemble traditional theological depictions. The conflict was rooted in this person’s unauthorized sharing of photographs of Marquess de Pumagay, previously a Mon Mar, motivated by romantic interest, along with prior hostility and threats toward the Emperor. The Emperor announced the start of hostilities on 25 January 2025 and formed an alliance with the Booger, a classmate known for resourcefulness. Before the conflict, civilians were conscripted under Executive Commissar Lesbiannix, and only later called Knights. The official end of hostilities is set on 28 March 2025, though practical combat ended about a month later when the individual was released from knightly service.
The Saragossan Crusades refer to a sequence of military campaigns initiated and directed by the August Empire of Nueva Saragossa in the territory formerly known as the Kingdom of Raius, now the Kingdom of Nueva Tartesso. These campaigns were framed by the Emperor as temporal continuations of the historical Crusades, despite lacking ecclesiastical endorsement. Hostilities began with the proclamation of the Ninth Crusade on 25 January 2025 and concluded with a declaration of total victory on 29 August 2025. Like all military engagements undertaken by Nueva Saragossa, except the War on Insects, the Crusades were entirely bloodless. They were formally described as wars of words and wars of consent, reflecting the Empire’s focus on targets accused of transgressions against human rights, personal boundaries, and consent.
The Ninth Crusade, also known as the Coalition Against Evil, was the inaugural campaign of the Saragossan Crusades and was directly authorized by the Emperor. Beginning on 25 January 2025, it ended on 8 March 2025 following a formal declaration of victory. The decree initiating the crusade triggered an immediate conscription order from the Executive Commissar, mobilizing all Knights of the Golden Fleece, including Marquess de Pumagay, the Emperor’s estranged child. This crusade focused solely on the Satanas, based on the Emperor’s claim that no one else had been taking photographs of Marquess without consent. On 28 January, diplomatic relations were declared with the Booger, who styled himself the primordial king of crashouts, followed by strategic planning sessions that night. On 29 January, the Emperor announced his birthday. On 30 January, he commented on the nearing end of the month and released a component of a larger strategy. The Emperor’s birthday celebration, initially planned for 1 February, was held on 2 February, with invitations extended to the entire Kingdom of Raius, though only four attendees arrived and none from the Satanas lineage. On 3 February, the Emperor reported the Booger’s failed water attack against the Satanas, thwarted by the Gonerican. On 8 March, the Emperor declared the Ninth Crusade successful on the grounds that the Satanas had disengaged from Marquess.
The Tenth Crusade, declared during a period of heightened internal and external tension, stands as the shortest recorded war in Saragossan history. It concluded abruptly after the Empire mistakenly believed that the targeted individual had abandoned the prior actions that had originally triggered the conflict. The end of the Tenth Crusade did not signify the conclusion of Saragossa’s crusading tradition. On 23 June 2025, the Eleventh Crusade was proclaimed. Unlike the previous campaigns, which focused on single individuals, the Eleventh Crusade encompassed multiple adversaries, strategic objectives, and entire cultural spheres, including the K-wave industry. The campaign ended on 29 August 2025 with what was declared an Imperial victory. In parallel with these crusading endeavors, sweeping governmental reforms were initiated. The Empire reorganized itself into a predominantly Catholic, parliamentary, representative, and constitutional democratic federation led by an absolute imperial monarch. This new governance system drew structural inspiration from the political architectures of the Philippines, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Galactic Empire, and the Holy Roman Empire. On 9 May 2025, the Emperor founded the Raius See as part of a broader program to articulate a tripartite order composed of the State, the Church, and the People.
The Tenth Crusade, the second in the series and the shortest Saragossan war, was prompted by concerns regarding the Satanas’ new crush, believed to involve someone connected to the Emperor after the Ninth Crusade. Convened on 15 April 2025 at 18:40 hours, during the nation’s anniversary, this crusade occurred only five weeks after the previous victory. It produced a single battle report, which also marked the end of the war during Saragossa’s Executive Commissar elections. Uniquely, this crusade involved no military actions; the entire campaign consisted of an inquiry into the identity of the individual favored by the Satanas. The Empire later determined that the individual had no connection to the Emperor, lived outside the Kingdom of Raius, and fell beyond Saragossa’s jurisdiction. On 11 May at 01:24 hours, the Emperor affirmed the irrelevance of the person in question and declared the crusade concluded.
The Eleventh Crusade, the final campaign, was declared by formal mandate on 15 June 2025 at 02:23 hours while the Emperor was in Vatican City for the Papal Mass of the Jubilee of Sport. The war was scheduled to commence on 23 June, and its mandate was publicly shared by Lucas de Satoshi. Upon the Emperor’s return to Europe on 22 June, the mandate was confirmed. Although the Eleventh Crusade registered no traditional battles, it featured an expanded target list and heightened militarization in line with the June-July Reforms. On 30 June, the Emperor announced the coming Assembly of Lords to define objectives, and by 1 July the Empire had designated several targets: the Jimbler and Co. for jimbling, a term not recognized in Saragossan law; the Gonerican, accused of leading a mocking conquest in Europe associated with the LGBTQIA+ flag; the Satanas; and, as of 2 July, the Diddette Jr., accused of lascivious conduct toward the Emperor.
On 12 July at 01:16 hours, the Emperor added K-Pop as a fifth objective, denouncing it as antithetical to art as protest and as a commercial tool eroding global cultural identity. He argued that K-Pop harmed nationalism, reduced patriotism, misrepresented South Korean people and history, and consisted of mass-produced performers akin to thousands of Backstreet Boys clones. On 17 July, at 19:52 hours, he declared a commemorative period to reflect on nine days spent with the Gonerican, paired with plans for military rearmament, the first since the Coruscant-Classix War. At 00:08 hours on 20 July, marking the start of the commemoration, he published a message of historical import within the Discord server: “Let it begin.” The following day, he sent a message to the Gonerican demanding resolution of an unresolved compromise, but she did not respond. The crusade subsequently shifted into a prolonged war of letters, with the Emperor sending daily messages via index cards delivered by Francesco Mannimarco de la Raja. On 20 August at 22:23 hours, the Emperor removed both the Satanas and the Jimbler’s company from the target list to focus on the Gonerican’s refusal to engage. A new target, the Chops, was added for perceived laziness.
On 28 August 2025, the Emperor’s schedule in Raius ran from 08:30 to 12:00 hours. During the break, Francesco experienced his final inadvertent time displacement and relayed a decisive message to the Emperor: “Her response: she lets you go.” At 13:55 hours that day, the Emperor delivered a national address announcing victory over both the Gonerican and the Satanas. He declared that the Eleventh Crusade would continue until Diddette Jr. was apprehended and tried, but on 29 August at 22:47 hours he reversed course, marking the official end of the Saragossan Crusades. This closure coincided with the first phase of the August-September Reforms.
The June-July Reforms marked the next wave of systemic transformation. During these months which coincided with the Crusades, Emperor Bissalicus redefined the operational responsibilities and institutional identities of the state’s administrative bodies. Anonymous portraits were commissioned to update visual standards, and substantial revisions were made to official Wiki documentation. The position of Executive Commissar was renamed Archchancellor, and all remaining Commissars were redesignated as Chancellors. Territorial nomenclature also underwent revision: districts, municipalities, and cities were renamed palsgraves, margraves, and landgraves. A formal Imperial Charter governing the Armed Forces was promulgated, accompanied by a separate Charter codifying parliamentary procedures. Concurrently, state legislatures were instituted across the kingdoms, duchies, counties, and princeships. New special congressional districts were created to refine representation, standardize suffrage, and streamline voting processes.
The August-September Reforms constituted a broader but comparatively lighter round of changes, coinciding with the election of a new Archchancellor and the close of the Crusades altogether. These reforms focused on external and representational aspects of the Empire rather than internal structure. Notable among these measures were the refinement of the official vernacular language and the comprehensive restructuring of Imperial State Institutions. During this period, the Emperor also introduced a new heraldic system after acquiring Inkscape, resulting in yet another modernization of the nation’s symbolic identity.
By contrast, the October Reforms were substantial and disruptive. On 1 October 2025, the Kingdom of Raius, the historical center of the Order of the Golden Fleece and the origin point of all three Saragossan Crusades, was dissolved by imperial decree. Its dissolution resulted in the blanket banishment of all its citizens, irrespective of rank or status. This action precipitated the removal of the Archchancellor, the August Crown Prince, and the Micropope from their posts, and several knights were struck from the Order's rolls. Parallel to these measures, significant institutional changes were undertaken, including the reestablishment and formal induction of the Order of the Jedi. The former Kingdom of Raius was replaced with the Kingdom of Barbarossa, created in honor of the Empire of Barbarossa. On 12 October 2025, the Emperor adopted a new August Crown Prince, Leopoldo-Vittorio II, following a brief period during which foreign leaders were invited to compete for the position. In the weeks that followed, the Emperor received his coronation vestments, commissioned during the final stage of the August-September Reforms. These vestments symbolized the culmination of a reform cycle that had proven far more extensive than any prior restructuring.
The November Reforms, occurring from 1 to 29 November 2025, involved continued dynastic expansion through adoption. By the end of the month, the Emperor had acquired at least nine adoptive sons, three of whom had previously achieved imperial rank independently before joining the Emperor’s lineage. Concurrently, the Emperor began assigning vacant thrones within the federal states to his newly adopted children. Significant modifications were also introduced to the Saragossan language, refining its structure and vocabulary to move it closer to the functional standards expected of an established lingua franca.
The December Reforms commenced on 1 December 2025 with the dissolution of the League of Christ, following disagreements surrounding the roles of the Micropope and the Vicegerent to Christ. This decision came shortly after the Emperor abolished the Micropapacy once more and redefined the scope of the ultimate temporal title to apply solely within Saragossa. Focus subsequently shifted back to internal development. On 4 December 2025, the national flag was changed again, and an additional adjective was appended to the Empire’s already lengthy formal title. The names of the nine federal states were also revised to differentiate them more distinctly from the dynasties that governed them. By this time, the Saragossan language had reached a highly mature, near-finalized stage. On 5 December 2025, St. Henry II and St. Joseph were declared patron saints of the Empire. These events coincided with the formal establishment of the feudal component of Saragossa’s feudal-federal system and the reconstitution of the League of Christ as the Nicaean Accord on 6 and 7 December 2025. This included the restoration and concrete realization of the Viceroyalty to Christ. On 8 December 2025, the Empire’s cosmic claim expanded from the Local Sheet to the broader Marian Area. Finally, on 11 December 2025, the Emperor founded two institutions of higher learning to honor the newly named patron saints: the August University of Emperor-Saint Henry the Second and the Pious University of Saint Joseph.
On 24 December 2025, Bissalicus de Mon Mar made 10 final decrees before abdicating in favor of his son, Leopold Victor II. Leopold became Supreme August Emperor on Christmas Day. One such decree by his father was a crusade against K-Pop, its "dehumanizing commoditization and objectification of innocent and talented men and women", its "vast soft power and disregard for own culture and foreign culture" and its "lethal lookism".
On 31 December 2025, Leopold would be wedded to Maria-Henrietta.
As Leopold Victor II took power, he would involve the state in a heavily LARP'd succession war that he had ideated out of envy or ambition over a partition of a different country. This failed and resulted in his loss of the Mandate of Heaven and his subsequent removal from the Throne of St. Joseph on 1 January 2026, with reason for his deposition being that he almost immediately disregarded the will of his father.
Leopold Victor's brother, Alexander Robert, was named Emperor by his father on the same day. To this day he reigns, and yet is to be said about his rule over Saragossa.
Maria's marriage to Leopold Victor II was annulled in favor of wedding Alexander instead.
