László Becz is a former army technician, EOD expert who served in the Hungarian Army Central Firing Range in several positions between 1992-2004. He is a flight and military enthusiast since his childhood and tirelessly searching for historical information about Soviet-era nuclear weapons, storages, and their delivery systems which were deployed in Hungary. His previous book was a similar subject, it described the most widely deployed Soviet fighter, the MiG-21 nuclear capability, details, and history.



Szabolcs Kizmus aka ‘hadsz’ is an architect and talented amateur historian who has been interested in the Cold War military history since two decades. He is continuously exploring the formerly secret military sites, facilities in Hungary and abroad. Also, he creates an accurate 3D model from most of these objects and collects all details of the Soviet military units history which were stationed in Hungary, especially the units which had any connection with nuclear weapons.


Tamás Várhegyi aka ‘Hpasp’ is an engineer, teacher, and an air defense expert. He created the free ‘Realistic to the Switch’ SAM Simulator which is available since 2006. He also has deep knowledge about Warsaw Pact planning, exercises, and decision-making mechanism. He has precious knowledge about Cold War military units organization, composition, and history. He is a subject matter expert for the Hungarian and the Soviet theater and tactical missile units which were stationed in Hungary.
