3. Your BST Certificate
4. Your seminar notes
5. Your journals
6. Copes of all you do in your journey to become a Master Guide
4. Register for the next conference Leadership event and start working your way through your MG card. Your church or area will have a study group that will help you through. * The conference will provide all your workshops at the leadership events.
5. After completing your MG card let the conference know you are done and ready for your portfolio review. Portfolio reviews happen at Conference Club Ministry events like Fair, Camporee, Leadership.**
6. Investiture: happens at Conference Club Ministry events. Just let the conference know you are ready for investiture. (most of the time your portfolio review & investiture will be at the same event)
Many churches like to see investitures of the new Master Guides and will do a investiture again when you come back for the whole church to see. Thats normal and is just fine. ***
7. You have been invested, but that is not the end of your journey. It is just the beginning.
Remember Master Guide is not about having extra patches and a title, it is about service. A Master Guide that does not serve is not a real Master Guide at all.
8. Where do I serve. Well there is many was you can serve. Here is some:
You can serve as staff in your church's Pathfinder or Adventurer club.
You can find another church that is short on staff and help their club out.
You can find a church that does not have a club and see if you can start a club in their church. (you will need to move your membership)
You can volunteer to help with the area/conference events. (like PBE, Fair, Bike-A-Thon, & Camp)
Or be a honor specialist going from club to club teaching the honors that you are especially talented at or have special equipment for.
You can join the Conference Master Guide Club. In a MG club you will work with a teem of MGs on all of the above items.
After some time serving in different areas you may find that you are asked to serve with the conference team.
9. AYMT: Is the CE classes for MG. As you go foreword in service you will need to keep up your studies. There are many AYMT's to choose from. You will pick one to study every one to three years. If you do not keep up on your AYMT's you may fine your self doing a MG recertification class****.

* Special Training's: You need a work shop to finish before the next investiture. This some times happens through no fault of yours. Got to leadership late because of bad traffic or weather. The instructor failed to show or was sick. Had emergency at home or work that coursed you to be late or leave early. You just really really wanted to be invested at the next Big camporee and there will not be a opportunity to get all the workshops before the investiture. These thing happen and special training's can be arranged by contacting the Club Ministry Director and asking.
** Special reviews can be arranged by contacting the Club Ministry Director and asking. Times this may be needed are: You can not come to the review for health reasons, bad weather, family emergence, need it done before getting invested at a national camporee.
*** Special Investitures can be arranged by contacting the Club Ministry Director and asking.
**** The Master Guide recertification class is not ready yet from the NAD. They voted in 2015 to have recertification for MGs that do not do CE's (continuing education) workshops. They will be coming out with the guidelines on how often CE's should be and what will be in the recertification in the next few years. Some conferences are already coming up with their own systems. The Nevada-Utah conference will wait for the NAD to finish their guidelines before starting to require recertification. We do recommend you start your AYMTs as soon as you finish your Master Guide so you can be the best servant leader possibly.
