Dear all,
This weekend St Peters church is providing a cake stall and refreshments at the Craft Market at Bellingham Town Hall on Saturday 18th from 10-2pm so if you want to get ahead with shopping why not pop into the town hall check out the craft stalls and have a coffee and some delicious homemade cake or buy up the goodies to take home for tea. Jams and other delights will also be available.
Also, from Saturday 18th as well as the Gaia exhibition at Hexham Abbey, the wonderful banners created by children from all the schools in the North Tyne will be on show until 2nd Nov. Their Cloths of Hopes and Dreams, designed by the children who attended ‘Fragile Earth’ - and sewn by volunteers from across the area is the culmination of 3 years of school’s work in the area. They really are wonderful and shouldn’t be missed.
Our Soup and Pud Social at Tarset Village Hall will be on Wednesday 12th December 12-2pm where there will be a tasty selection of Soups and some delicious Puds to keep out the winter blues! We as usual will be having a raffle too. So come along for some good food and lively company. I look forward to seeing you there.
Don’t forget to put our Community Candlelit Carol Service on 23rd Dec at 7pm in your diary!
There seems to be lots happening, so I hope to see you at some of these events soon.
Caroline
