Hi, I’m Ning, a PhD student at NTU. During my college years, I spent a year on exchange in Budapest (one of the best places for soups!) and later completed my master’s degree in Edinburgh. These experiences shaped my preference for inductive and interactive teaching, as I believe learning is most rewarding and lasting when one discovers and experiences things firsthand.
As a literature scholar in training, I confess to the habit of buying more books than I can finish and downloading more articles than I can ever remember. Outside of academia, however, I’m an active and open person. I love running outdoors to the extent that I join marathons—not just for the challenge, but for the sky, the views, and even the exhaustion.
