Tamsui Junior High School emphasizes "learning English in the real world" as the core of its bilingual curriculum. Following the Curriculum Guidelines of the 12-Year Basic Education, the school has designed bilingual curriculums suited to the students' levels. Teachers integrate subject English and classroom English into their teaching, providing opportunities for students to listen, speak, read, and write English in practical settings. By connecting with the real world, the school helps students use English functionally, experience effective learning environments, and communicate with the world.
▶ To check the language use and refine the lesson plans, teachers shared and discussed their courses weekly.
▶ To enhance English use and share the in-class activities with each other, our teachers observe and discuss each others’ class monthly.
