Since the 109 school year, Qingshan Elementary and Junior High School has had a foreign teacher project school plan. This plan integrates on-campus activities and non-testable subjects (life science and technology, visual arts, performing arts, home economics, and health education subjects), integrating the foreign teacher with various educational fields. The foreign teacher collaborates with a different subject teacher each year as they develop bilingual seventh grade courses, allowing teachers in more fields to become open to the possibility of teaching a bilingual class without foreign teacher support.
Qingshan has been a bilingual school designated by the Ministry of Education since the 112th school year. In addition to two local teachers in performing arts and life science and technology, a bilingual scouts teacher has also joined, gradually forming a bilingual curriculum development community of teachers in English and other fields in the school. Bilingual education allows teachers to continue to enhance learning through lesson planning, deepen their knowledge of English instruction in bilingual courses, and provide students with better bilingual courses and English situations through complete lectures, observation, and discussion.
Our school even combines the new 5G technology with AR/VR helmet technology, using the British Shakespeare’s Globe Theater as the theme, pushing the limitations of the learning field with the assistance of cutting edge technology. The Q&A during the AV/VR experience is based on a multi-modal design concept, allowing students to immerse themselves in a teaching environment with game mechanics, creating the motivation for student self-study in digital learning.
