Jun-You Wang (王鈞右) received the B.S. and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Taiwan University in Jun. 2021 and Jun. 2024, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Jyh-Shing Roger Jang. From Aug. 2024 to Jul. 2025, he was a post-doctoral researcher at Music and Culture Technology Lab, Academia Sinica, working with Associate Research Fellow Li Su. Since Aug. 2025, he has been an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Taiwan Normal University.

王鈞右在2021年6月取得台大資訊系學士學位，2024年6月獲台大資訊系博士學位（指導教授：張智星教授）。自2024年8月至2025年7月，他在中研院資訊所的 Music and Culture Technology Lab 作為博士後研究員，在蘇黎副研究員的指導下進行研究。自2025年8月起，他加入台師大資訊系作為專案助理教授並建立MAPLab。

Jun-You Wang’s research interests include music information processing, music synthesis, music understanding, speech processing, and computational musicology. He has published 12 papers in total since 2021, where he introduced new methodologies and models, proposed novel datasets, and collected benchmarks for evaluation to multiple challenging tasks to the research community.

王鈞右的研究方向包含音樂資訊處理、音樂合成、音樂理解、語音處理、及計算音樂學等。自2021年起他已經在這些領域發表了十二篇論文，不僅提出了新的研究方法與方向，也收集和標註了新的資料集，在多個難題上做出顯著的貢獻。

For example, he has recently proposed a self-supervised learning model for symbolic music understanding, achieving promising results on multiple tasks that require a deep understanding on music theory to address, such as the texture analysis of symphonies. [Paper link]
