What is the National Tribal & Indigenous Climate Conference? Who should attend?
This conference is a great opportunity for Tribal and Indigenous resource professionals, federal staff, personnel from universities, nonprofits, and students from academic institutions including Tribal colleges and universities to attend. This event will be a good opportunity to learn about climate change adaptation and resilience efforts being done by Tribal and Indigenous peoples and communities. As we did in 2020, we welcome all who are interested in participating or attending.
When and where is the second National Tribal & Indigenous Climate Conference?
Dates are August 29 - September 1, 2022.
Plans for the second National Tribal & Indigenous Climate Conference (NTICC) will be held in-person in St. Paul, Minnesota with options for virtual attendance and participation.
What does the conference schedule look like?
The NTICC is a 4-day event, starting with Monday, August 29 providing optional trainings and workshops and field trips. The opening plenary will take place on Tuesday, August 30 and the final conference day will be on Thursday, September 1. An agenda overview can be found on the "Agenda" tab or by clicking here.
