Welcome to the Lewisburg Branch of Nittany Youth Track & Field!  Nittany Track and Field is a non-profit club for youth ages 7 to 18. Our main objective is to foster a positive, fun, and supportive atmosphere for training and athletic growth.  Coaches encourage kids to set personal goals and develop discipline and techniques needed to reach those goals.  Training is suited to all levels of ability and experience. 

The 2026 Season will run from May 18th through July 31st.  Practices will be held at the Lewisburg track on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 6:30-8pm.    

A typical practice includes a team warm-up, agility drills, a  workout, cool-down, stretching and games. We will also talk about visualization and goal setting.  The basic workouts are aimed at the development of proper running, jumping or throwing form, endurance, strength, and speed. 

Competitions: Athletes are encouraged but not required to compete in regional track meets.  The Nittany Youth Track & Field registration fee will cover athletes' entrance fees to meets.  Athletes will compete in age groups by their birth year.  See below for age-group breakdowns for 2026.  

Nittany Youth Track & Field is based out of State College, PA and began in 2005.  Lewisburg will host a new branch beginning in 2026.  

 The Club is currently affiliated with the Mid-Atlantic USATF.  The Club offers three Summer Track & Field chapters: 

• Main campus / State College

• Penns Valley

• Lewisburg
