The Health Professions Scholarship Program is designed to provide a financial incentive for students in designated health care professions to complete degree requirements and obtain a commission in the Medical Corps.
· 2, 3, and 4 year scholarships available for Medical School and only 4 year scholarship for Dental.
· $20,000 signing bonus
· 100% of your tuition is paid
· Monthly stipend of $2466 to spend as you like
· All educationally required school fees (minus housing and meals) are paid

Citizenship - Must be a U.S. Citizen
Age - Complete your degree by age 42
Health - Must meet the Navy’s physical requirements
Education MC - Must be enrolled in, or accepted for transfer into a medical school accredited by either the American Medical Association (AMA), or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above to apply. Must complete studies/training as full time students attending all normal school sessions (2 semesters or 3 quarters), and must maintain a GPA of above 3.0 after selection.
Education DC- Must have taken the DAT
Medical Corps (MC) minimum obligation is three years (four years if signing bonus is elected)
HSCP is Offered to Medical, Dental, Health Care Admin, Industrial Hygiene, Physician Assistant, Social Work (internship), Audiology, Pharmacy, Podiatry, Entomology (PhD and residency). If selected you will be enlisted in to Active duty (receive pay and benefits of an Active Duty E-6) Because you are receiving active duty pay you are "required to pay for your own school"

The Nurse Candidate Program (NCP) is a financial assistance program for students enrolled in a baccalaureate nursing program. Upon completion of degree requirements, the student must accept a commission as a Nurse Corps (NC) officer.
$34,000 total incentive while attending school.
- $10,000 signing bonus PLUS;
- $1,000 a month (maximum 24 months)
Age - Complete your degree by age 42.
Education - Must be enrolled in, or accepted for transfer into a nursing school accredited by either the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above to apply. Must complete studies/training as full time students attending all normal school sessions (2 semesters or 3 quarters), and must maintain a GPA of above 3.0 after selection.
Degree requirements must be fulfilled within 24 months.
Candidates who enter the program during the fourth (4Th) year of their nursing program will agree to serve on active duty as a Nurse Corps officer for four (4) years;
Candidates who enter the program during the third (3rd) year of their nursing program will agree to serve on active duty as a Nurse Corps officer for five (5) years.
