The NSW-RRTN Postgraduate Training Scholarships aim to create a robust research training ecosystem that bridges academia, industry, and government. This HDR scheme is designed to equip research candidates with advanced skills and foster innovative research aligned with the RNA ecosystem.
HDR candidates will undertake research projects co-designed by universities, industry partners, and government agencies (e.g., NSW DPI and LHDs), addressing scientific, technical, regulatory, clinical, and ethical challenges. These projects are tailored to meet the needs of the growing RNA ecosystem, emphasising translational research and fostering practical skills through integrated learning.
To enhance employability, scholars will participate in a three-month industry internship, aligned with eligibility criteria, fostering connections with industry stakeholders and providing real-world experience.
The program will also support networking and outreach events, including business pitch events, to build connections within, and beyond, the NSW ecosystem.
