LIBRARY GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All Teaching & non teaching staff and currently enrolled students, Researchers and of the college are members of the library.

2. No student will be allowed to avail library facility without valid College ID card and library card.

3. Writing the details in the library visitor register at the counter while entering in the library is mandatory to all users.

4. Before getting the books issued, the Borrower must satisfy himself/herself about the condition of the books otherwise he/she will be held responsible for any damage.

5. Reader should not Mark, underline or write on library books, periodicals.

6. Reference books/Thesis/Reports and current periodicals will not be issued from the library, but it can used in library.

7. The Librarian can recall any book if necessary even before the expiry of the due date.

8. If the books are not returned within the specified time the fine will be charged as per rules.

9. In case of book is misused, wrongly handled or lost the person concerned will have to replace the copy of book or pay the double cost of price of the book.

10. The library user should take good care of library furniture’s and equipment.

11. Students should take care of cleanliness of the library & Any Drink and food are not allowed in the Library.

12. Library computers are for academic purpose only. Follow the internet safety guidelines.

13. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the library premises.

14. Any personal belongings are not permitted into the library.

15. The loss of Library card should be immediately reported to the Library head in writing, & they can make fresh Library Card which will be issued on nominal payment fees.

16. Strict action will be taken for any misbehavior in the Library premises /reading room.

17. Keep all the belongings outside the reading room and the authority will not be responsible for any loss.

18. Suggestion Box is kept in the premises of library. Your positive/healthy suggestions are welcome.

Note: On completion of course, library Barrowers cards need to be deposited to the Library to obtain ‘Clearance certificate/No Dues Certificate’.
