Guidelines for Oral Presentations
There are no restrictions on the template or number of slides. Participants are encouraged to structure their presentation to ensure completion within the allotted timeframe.
It is advisable to use standard fonts to prevent compatibility issues. Slides must include slide numbers for better navigation and reference.
Each presenter will have 10 minutes for the presentation, followed by 2 minutes for a Q&A session. Adhering to the time limit is mandatory to ensure smooth session flow.
Presenters must arrive at the venue at least 10 minutes before their session begins.
Guidelines for Poster Presentations
The poster should be prepared in A0 size (33.11 × 46.81 inches or 84.1 × 118.9 cm) in portrait orientation.
Ensure the Abstract ID is prominently displayed on the poster.
Use visually distinct headers, such as Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion, to organize content into clear sections.
Select fonts and sizes that are easy to read from a distance & include high-quality visuals, such as images, charts, and graphs, to effectively convey key points.
Underline the presenter’s name on the poster and mark the corresponding authors with an asterisk (*).
Each participant will have 7 minutes, which includes both the presentation and a Q&A session moderated by an expert panel.
Metallography Contest Guidelines
Participants must submit their metallography entries in physical form for the final display.
The micrographs can be either in color or black & white, and should be affixed to a white backing sheet no larger than A4 size (preferably mounted on a sturdy support sheet).
On the front of the entry, include an engaging caption, a brief description (up to 30 words), the entry ID (assigned by the organizer), the technique used, and the unique features of the micrograph.
Micrographs submitted must be of high quality, include a micron scale marker, and represent original work created by the participant.
Entries should be submitted in one of the following four categories:
1. Light Microscopy (LM)
2. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
3. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)
4. Other Microscopy Technique.
