Mrs. Whalen, Mr. Arnold, and Ms. Burns hosted an "All-Town Chorus" event for students from the 4 Northborough elementary schools in 5th grade chorus. This year, all 5th grade students sang two of the same pieces, including "Seize The Day" from the Broadway musical "Newsies". As a way to finish out their year in chorus, we invited all 5th grade students to Melican Middle School for a viewing party of the musical. During this event, students socialized with their friends, experienced the MMS music space, and enjoyed the film.
Field Trip!
The Algonquin Music Department recently traveled with 105 students to NYC! It was a jam packed itinerary, which included seeing the fabulous Broadway show “SIX.”
