may request grant funds using the form here. Please return the completed form via email to nsmaboard@gmail.com. Grants are discussed at each board meeting, typically the third Monday of each month.

The NSMA has proudly supported the following:
GUEST ARTISTS
$700 grant for conductor James Burton, for ARHS choral ensembles
$500 grant for guest artists at Melican Middle School Chamber Night
$500 grant for guest artist, trombonist Craig Robbins, for Melican Middle School Jazz Night
$500 grant to support the 8th - 12th grade music jamboree
$1400 grant to the Lincoln Street and Peaslee Schools for a music enrichment activity
$500 grant to the Woodward School for field trip to the Neary School for a music performance
EQUIPMENT
Electronic piano for Trottier Middle School
A new piano at ARHS and keyboards for the piano lab at ARHS
Microphones at multiple schools
New sound systems at Trottier Middle School and ARHS
Concert dresses and tuxes for ARHS
Choreographer for the ARHS musicals
SCHOLARSHIPS
$2,000 Music Enrichment Awards to students for private instruction
$350 fund-raising match for ARHS music students’ New York City trip
$5,350 in senior scholarships
