Welcome
Network and Systems Laboratory (NSL) at Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE), National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) focus on three main topics of research – Network, Systems, and Data. Three topics interconnect and support each other. For example, one of the topics at NSL is on network routing protocols which different routing protocols are proposed and studied in simulations. The proposed routing protocols are then implemented into real network system (i.e., routers and switches) where different issues/problems will arise during actual system implementation. After the real system implementation, we are able to collect and analysis actual network traffic. With real data collected, it allows us to return back to routing protocol and improve the design. Thus, the circle goes on - network to system to data and back!
