Site analysis is the process of collecting site and environmental data that may influence how the building is placed and designed. This data may include; site slope and contours, location of trees & other plants, location of boulders, location of electrical wires, sun path, wind direction, good and bad sounds around the site, good and bad views, good and bad smells.
A measured building survey is the process of collecting building measurements, which may include; capturing accurate building dimensions, widths ,heights & depth of all walls, columns, slabs, beams, stairs, doors, windows, etc. As well as, a record of all bathroom, kitchen and electrical fixtures and their accurate locations, making a record of all drainage & sewage elements.
