Guidelines

Oral Presentation

  • Each talk is 15 minutes, including Q&A. It is absolutely critical to be on time so the talk shall take no more than 12 minutes to leave room for questions. Unfortunately, session chairs would need to cut all talks beyond their allocated time. Please, do practice a few times prior to the presentation.

  • Sending your slides as a backup to your session chair is highly encouraged.

  • Report your attendance to your session chair at least 30 minutes before the session starts.

  • There is no specific format for your slides.

  • Please, verify your timeslot in accordance with Eastern Time (https://time.is/ET). All schedule is in ET.

  • Please, ensure that you have a quiet place during your presentation to avoid background noise.

  • Presentations will not be recorded.

  • During presentations, you are free to ask any questions to presenters via chat-everybody, others may have similar questions and it will encourage further discussions and networking.

  • If your advisor or any other colleague, not previously registered on the website, is going to attend your presentation, please let us know in advance to accept his/her admission in platforms.

  • Enjoy and have fruitful conversations with other students/presenters!!!
