09/27/2023: NSBP's First Black and Latinx Involvement Fair:

The Stony Brook chapter of NSBP had our first appearance at the Stony Brook Black and Latinx Involvement Fair. Executive Board members Shawna Rudder, DaiJon James, Karega Atkinson Jr., and Allen Pierre-Louis advertised the club and NSBP's club goals, past meetings, accomplishments, and future endeavors. We showed off our wonderful posterboard, provided candy, and stickers. Many thanks to any and all individuals who supported this function.
09/05/2023: NSBP First GBM of the Fall 2023 Semester:
The chapter had our first General Body Meeting of the Fall 2023 semester. Members heard a small introduction to our club, the National Conference for NSBP, and played jeopardy. A prize raffle (2022 conference tote bags) was done as well.

02/24/2023: NSBP x Astro Club Mixer:
This mixer was a success as it led to engaging social interaction amongst NSBP and Astro Club members. Attendees joined as strangers and left as friends. Great advice was exchanged regarding tips for success in academics, research, and graduate school. In addition there was an interactive visual projected onto the screen that tracked the motion of everyone present and outputted as an interesting visual effect.
