Mission Statement: 

• The purpose of the National Society of Black Physicists Stony Brook Chapter is to support diversity within the Physics and Astronomy majors by creating a sense of community and a safe space for the Black, Latinx, and other underrepresented minorities in the majors. We have the ultimate goal of retaining those numbers in the majors due to there being a higher chance of dropping the majors.
