The official language of the Principality of Northern Salaboda is Swedish. Swedish is a language originating from Sweden but also spoken in some areas of Finland. The Swedish language dates far back to when people can tell, with the oldest text in Swedish dating to 1224. It is in the germanic language family, with it's early forms being Old Norse > Old East Norse > Old Swedish > Modern Swedish.Â
Another very spoken language in the Principality is English. English is an official language in many places and is considered as the "international language", since it is a language known to many billions of people, and can be heard everywhere in the world. And especially with internet, people communicate with others from all over the world, meaning speaking or knowing English is almost essential.
