No Re-Choir-Ment A Cappella is a student organization at Iowa State University focused on providing ALL students interested in a cappella with a collegiate a cappella experience without an additional choral requirement.
Founded in Spring of 2019 by Dani Jarosz, the organization started as a simple Facebook group chat and later became established at the university. The organization began regularly meeting and functioning in the fall semester of 2019 and has been evolving and growing ever since.
No Re-Choir-Ment meets twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays starting at 6:30 PM and ending at 8:30 PM.
NRCM is host to three ensembles, Vox Co., Decibelles, and One Note Stand, so as to provide all students who are interested in participating with the opportunity to sing and cultivate lasting and meaningful relationships.

President - Kyra Howard
President - Kyra Howard
Kyra is a sixth semester member of NRCM and is an ensemble leader in Vox Co. She is currently studying Early Childhood Education with a Special Education Minor. Kyra is from Schaumburg, Illinois and loves spending time with her 4 cats and 2 dogs. Kyra joined NRCM because she has always loved singing since a young age and wanted to join a low commitment group in college. She loves spending time with the people in Vox Co. and thinks that everyone is so fun and welcoming to sing and perform with.

Emma is a fourth semester member of NRCM and is an ensemble leader in Vox Co. She is currently studying English & Anthropology with a TESL minor. Emma is from State Center, Iowa and enjoys piano, baking, reading, and photography.

Mason is a third semester member of NRCM and is an ensemble leader in Decibelles. Mason is from Ogden, Iowa. They are an elementary education major with a reading endorsement and a learning technology minor. Their related experiences include high school choir, show choir, musical, and dance. They joined NRCM for the laid back, fun environment where everyone gets to shine.

Nathan is an eigth semester member of NRCM and is a member of Vox Co. He is currently studying Chemistry with a minor in Food Science. Nathan is from Nebraska and outside of singing he likes to do swing dancing with the Cardinal Swing Society. Nathan joined NRCM because he did choir in high school, found NRCM, and the rest was history. His favorite part of NRCM is when we run the songs super fast and the songs where everyone gets a solo.
