Marching Band
About our Marching Band
Our North Ridgeville Ranger Marching Band is a performing group that meets from July to Early November. The Marching Band performs at every football game along with pep rally's, parades, and for other special occasions. Along with our wonderful Marching Band , we also offer students the opportunity to try out for our Color Guard line.

Sit Down Band
Symphonic Band
The North Ridgeville High School Symphonic Band is an audition only group. Students who are in or wishing to be in must audition the year before to receive entrance to the Symphonic Band. Numbers in the Symphonic Band are kept to a minimum. The Symphonic band performs at least three times a year including OMEA (Ohio Music Education association) adjudicated large group contest.
Concert Band
The North Ridgeville High School Concert Band meets year round. In this band students learn to play music ranging from classical to contemporary in a "sit down" band style. This band performs at least three times a year including OMEA (Ohio Music Education association) adjudicated large group contest. No audition is required to be a part of this group, previous musical experience is highly encouraged.
Jazz Band
Jazz Band
Our North Ridgeville High School Jazz band is an audition only group that is composed of saxophones, trombones, trumpets, and a rhythm section. Jazz Band auditions take place in early November and this band runs through the end of the year. Students involved in the Jazz Band perform at least three times a year along with a Night of Jazz which also features the Middle School Jazz Group.
Auditions will take place in the month of October.

About Tri-M:
Music Participation
Candidates must have been enrolled in a school-sponsored music ensemble and/or class for at least one semester of the current school year.
Academic Achievement
Candidates must have maintained for the previous semester at least a B average grade or equivalent in music, with at least a cumulative C average grade or equivalent in other academic subjects.
Leadership
This criteria is at your discretion as Advisor. Generally speaking, any school or community activity that students are actively involved in will suffice. Leadership roles in both school and community may be considered as long as they can be verified.
Service
Similar to leadership, this criteria is at your discretion as Advisor. Service activities include any actions undertaken by the student that are done with or on behalf of others without any direct financial or material compensation to the individual performing the service.
Character
Judgment of character should be free of speculation and rumor. One description of character is a person who demonstrates respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Chapters are encouraged to take this model and modify it to meet their local needs.
