  • discover what national parks are and why they exist

  • learn about plants and animals, ecosystems and landforms, Aboriginal sites and places of beauty found in national parks

  • watch videos about Australia's first national park

  • review the BOLTS presentation to learn about mapping principles

  • create their own national park.
