What is Music Therapy?
Music therapy is the evidence-based use of music to support learning, communication, movement, and overall development. It’s led by a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) and tailored to each child’s needs. Services may be covered by Sunshine Health, Step Up for Students or Private Pay. Individual and group services available based on clients’ needs.
Music therapy can support individuals with:
Autism / ADHD
Speech & language delays
Emotional or behavioral needs
Down syndrome
Anxiety
Motor delays or coordination needs
Sensory processing challenges
TBI/Stroke
Alzheimer's/Dementia
Parkinson's Disease
