Description
Reading and discussing literature written in English is one of the most important skills for conducting good research. In this class, we aim to improve this skill by reading and discussing English literature related to psychology. Specifically, we will take up "social exclusion," one of the research topics in social psychology, and read English literature summarizing the latest research trends on this topic.

概要
英語で書かれた文献を読み，他者と議論することは，より良い研究を行なっていく上で重要な能力のひとつである。本授業では，この能力の向上を目指し，心理学関連の英語文献を読み，その内容について議論していく。特に，今学期は，社会心理学の研究トピックのひとつである「社会的排除 (social exclusion)」を取り上げ，これに関する最新の研究動向をまとめた英語文献を読み進める。

Description
From the perspective of psychology, theories and research findings on children's mental and physical development and learning processes will be discussed, focusing on their relationship to educational and childcare practices. The knowledge required of teachers and caregivers in supporting independent learning ad the educational and childcare practices that should be based on this knowledge will then be discussed

概要
心理学の視点から、子どもの心身の発達及び学習の過程に関する代表的な理論や研究成果について、教育・保育実践との関連を中心に論じる。その上で、主体的な学習を支える上で教師・保育者に求められる知見と、それを踏まえた教育･保育実践のあり方について考察する。
