Antigone Papoutsis

Antigone is a passionate greek artist who poured the essence of her soul into her work, which attracted the attention of Vincent Kara, who eventually turned her. While many believe she serves as his mouthpiece on the primogen council in a similar capacity as Kiara Bata, Antigone very much goes her own way most of the time.

With the final death of her sire, Antigone's positioned herself as his replacement, which put her on the backfoot against the Ventrue plot to usurp Austin. After allying herself with the PCs, Antigone hired mercenaries to do help them in the killing. With the death of Reuben Vega, Antigone is now the new Prince.

Adelheid "Heidi" Rasche

Clan: Tremere| Affiliation: Camarilla | Role: Primogen | Generation: 8th

The most powerful blood mage in Austin and a fanatic adherent to the traditions laid out by her grandsire Karl Schrekt, the former Justicar of the Tremere. Heidi serves the dual role of primogen and regent of the Austin Chantry, using her fell powers to manipulate the blood of the living and undead alike.

Update: Heidi Rasche has had overtures from both Raphael and Herschell for alliances of different kinds. All of that might have to wait while the war is on. Clan Tremere is not as powerful as it has been in the past and Heidi's business concerns lie mostly in Reuben Vega's territories around the Domain.

Elisabet "Bet" Ney / Beth Rey

Clan: Toreador| Affiliation: Camarilla | Role: Herald | Generation: 11th

A renowned sculptor originally born in the Prussian city of Munster, she has lived in Germany, Minnesota, and Texas, her final location being the Hyde Park area of Austin. Elisabet did many notable commissions (Jacob Grimm, Giuseppe Garibaldi, Richard Wagner, Otto von Bismarck, Josef Joachim, Amalie Joachim, Ludwig II and George V), including her final bust that disappeared the same night she died.  In reality, she was embraced by her Toreador benefactor. She is the current Herald of Austin and keeps all accounts of favors in court.

Bet still holds power within Antigone's Principality, even though the two of them hate each other pretty thoroughly. Bet's knowledge of the prestation of Austin ensures her powerbase.

Abby Normal

A rogue graffiti artist, her real name is unknown.

Markus "Mad Mark" Donovan

Clan: Toreador | Affiliation: Camarilla | Generation: 14th

A failed rock musician from Dallas, embraced in 2015 after spiraling drug addiction in the Austin punk scene. Mad Mark has embraced a ghoulish appearance and plays small shows around town.

Laura Perez

Clan: Malkavian| Affiliation: Camarilla | Role: Former Primogen | Generation: 10th

The recently deceased Primogen of the Austin Malkavians, Laura Perez has run a psychic service in Austin for 50+ years. She has a ghoul named Madam Ruth who runs the business during the day time. Her house at 709 Blackson Ave was partially demolished in an attack that killed Laura by exposing her to the light of the sun.

Update: Laura Perez is still alive! She was removed and replaced several years ago by Archon Sophie Bennet-Johnson, a doppelganger who imprisoned and replaced the Malkavian at the request of the White Tower. With her "demise", she has been replaced by Jimmy Novak as Primogen. Using the blood money paid to her by the Camarilla, Laura is having her house rebuilt.

Guy Martell

Clan: Nosferatu | Affiliation: Camarilla | Generation: 12th

An analog cryptography expert and Escape Room enthusiast. He is great at puzzles and putting clues together and was part of the team that Pickle Pete put together to suss out the location of Reuben Vega's lair.

Marlowe "Rat Queen" Derossiers

Clan: Nosferatu | Affiliation: Camarilla | Generation: 11th

A famulus expert and video game aficionado. Marlowe's deformities and perhaps her "Animalism" specialties make her more like the rats that she controls, Marlowe has leaned into it, adopting the moniker "Rat Queen" online and in her personal life. 

Damien Brooks

Clan: Tremere | Affiliation: Camarilla | Generation: 11th

The only Austin member of House Ipsissimus, Damien is attempting to meld Blood Sorcery and Oblivion rituals together, pushing the boundaries between what is possible. 

Walter Greystone

Clan: Ventrue | Affiliation: Camarilla | Generation: 11th

Walter Greystone, a Ventrue tax lawyer with a nerdy, nebbish appearance, might seem an unlikely figure among the Kindred elite, but his unassuming demeanor masks a razor-sharp intellect and an unrelenting ambition. Embraced during the tumultuous economic upheaval of the 1980s, Walter quickly adapted his expertise in tax law to navigate the Byzantine world of Kindred finance, uncovering loopholes and opportunities that others overlooked. His meek, bookish demeanor often leads adversaries to underestimate him—a mistake few make twice. Walter thrives in the shadows of high society, using his mastery of legal intricacies to control assets and manipulate mortal institutions. Beneath his timid exterior lies a cunning strategist who sees every interaction, financial or personal, as a move in a larger game of power. 

Khadija al-Mansour

A powerful businesswoman originally from Morocco, now using her influence in international trade to further her Kindred ambitions in Texas. 

Hamza Hamad

Clan: Banu Haqim| Affiliation: Camarilla | Role: Former Sherriff | Generation: 9th

A 13th century Syrian assassin and warrior, Hamza Hamad was sent to Tyre pretending to be a Christian convert. Let into a chapel to pray, Hamza assassinated his target, the Lord of Tyre Philip of Montford. Hamza was embraced by the Banu Haqim to reward his warrior spirit. Hamza owns several security companies throughout the world, whose leadership are all ghouls with ties to him and his childer. Hamza is currently in Texas, serving as Sherriff at the request of Vincent Kara and operates Alamo Security through ghoul intermediaries in the lone star state.

Update: After the death of Prince Vissarion, the only tie that bound him and his clan to Austin was severed. Hamza Hamad immediately packed and left back to the Middle East, leaving his childe Kiara Bata to settle affairs and close down Alamo Security.

Nuria Alameda

Clan: Tremere | Affiliation: Camarilla | Role: Prince (San Antonio) | Generation: 5th

A former awakened mage who was turned only 60 years ago, she secured her position through the strength of her blood sorcery, her occult knowledge, and the support of House Tremere. She is a childe of Meerlinda of Wessex, a Methuselah.

James Graham

Clan: Ventrue | Affiliation: Camarilla | Role: Prince (Dallas) | Generation: 7th

Biological brother to Jasper and David, son to Robert. James and his brothers were sired by Hilderic of Mithras' lineage as a punishment to Robert Graham, then Earl of Montrose. Hilderic arrived three nights in a row, taking Robert's three sons and ending his line of the family tree. Several years later, as Robert was nearing death, James turned him. James is the Prince of Dallas and seeks to overthrow the Prince of San Antonio and reinstate his brother Jasper as the Prince of Austin so that the brothers effectively control Texas.

Alia von Wrede / Lea Reed

Clan: Brujah | Affiliation: Anarch | Role: Baron | Generation: 13th

The daughter of Frederich von Wrede, an early manager of the Nassau Plantation, Alia was at home when her father was scalped by Comanche outside of Austin. Distraught by his death, Alia refused to return to Bavaria with her mother and instead became a prominent figure around the plantation. She saw Nassau reject slavery and free the slaves the german settlers had puchased in Galveston more than two decades before the Confederacy lost the Civil War. She was embraced by a nomadic vampire trailing Confederate soldiers returning home from the war. 

Alia was part of the Camarilla of San Antonio until roughly 10 years ago when the Brujah were kicked from the Ivory Tower. She consolidated the fractious Anarch movement, establishing a haven in San Marcos.

Bevis Wayne Clayton 

Clan: Gangrel| Affiliation: Anarch | Generation: Unknown

President of Venom MC, a biker gang that lives in an unincorporated area on Hwy 95 between Elgin and Taylor. Bevis is Cletus' older brother. Expert in Protean. 

Augustus Giovanni

Clan: Giovanni/Hecata | Affiliation: Independent| Role: Methuselah | Generation: 3rd (through diablerie)

A methuselah vampire and the youngest childe of Cappadocius. Augustus managed to diablerize his sire, but failed to absorb Cappadocius' soul back in 1444. Since then, he has been the weakest "antediluvian", often derisively called "Uncle Auggie" by other members of his clan.

In the 2010s, Augustus was seemingly destroyed just prior to the family reunion of the fractured Cappadocian bloodlines. In actuality, he was hiding, biding his time to locate the True Vessel and fully ascend as he tried to do 600 years before.  Augustus was successful, thanks to the help of the PCs. The Capuchin's plans are now in ruin and one should expect the Hecata to go through some monumental shifts now that Augustus is back in the saddle again.

Marquis Phillipe de Feron

Clan: Lasombra | Affiliation: Independent | Role: Provocateur | Generation: 9th

Raphael de La Foix's sire, the Marquis de Feron has been "dead" for the past 30 years, after surviving an assassination attempt by his childe Raphael.  The Marquis survived by transforming into his shadowform.  Having allied with Reuben Vega to usurp power in Austin and destroy his childe in the process, the Marquis managed to survive the attempt on his unlife and is on the run.

Caslav the Sculptor

Clan: Tzimisce | Affiliation: Sabbat | Role: Unknown | Generation: Unknown

Caslav is a Sabbat pack leader originally from Imperial Russia before relocating to Mexico and South Texas in the 1850s. He apparently has strong vicissitude powers and focuses on creating monstrosities out of ghouls. Llanzo King has run into him and recognized the brand he puts into his war ghouls. Like Eiko's pack, he was drawn to the Austin area by Augustus Giovanni's ascension to antediluvian godhood. Now his pack is going to destroy Austin as he searches for Elders to destroy.  

Eun-baem, the Abomination

Clan: Hecata (Cappadocian) | Affiliation: Camarilla | Generation: Unknown | Status: Final Death

Very little is known of the abomination Eun-baem.  He has some alliance with the Camarilla even though the Hecata are considered Independents. He is a half nagah-half vampire abomination, hunted by all garou.

He has shown the ability to shed his skin into any form he pleases. In his natural state, he is a giant leucitic cobra, some 25 feet long and weighing several hundred pounds. His venom is a powerful hallucinogenic neurotoxin that strips the humanity from a person. As a vampire, he can create childer who are nothing more than feral wights, whose minds are lost from the venom. 

Update: Eun-baem has met the final death at the hands of the  PCs as part of a deal with Augustus Giovanni

Reuben Vega

Clan: Ventrue| Affiliation: Camarilla | Role: Primogen | Generation: 9th | Status: Final Death

Originally from Alta California, Reuben Vega was involved with the Bay area fighting of the 90s, but in a different area from Pete Boggman. In the modern nights of the mid-2000s, he relocated from Silicon Valley to Austin on a tech wave, which reestablished a Ventrue presence. He has a small group of Ventrue lackies and a ghoul retinue.

His money comes from property investments and tech start ups. He is an investor in the Domain and owns a steakhouse with a bar above it called "Blue Rare". His primary residence is in the Bowen, a luxury condo in the Domain. 

After the execution of Prince Vissarion by the Ivory Tower, Reuben made a bid for the role of Prince. After the battle lines were drawn with the Ventrue, Marquis, and some others on one side and the Toreador and PCs on the other, Reuben was finally hunted down and destroyed by Pickles and Herschel Walker.

The Umbral

A mystery for another time. 

Fiorenzo De Capua is an Autark warrior who does not follow a specific creed and owes no alliegance. His stealth skills are unparalleled and he creates famuli to scout (bats) but also battle (zoo predators). Like Caslav and Eiko, he has felt a call to this area from Augustus Giovanni's ascension to antediluvian godhood. He has traveled to Austin to eat the heart of the Prince and any other godlings he can find. He is known as Camazotz in parts of Mexico because of his affinity for bats.

John Wayne Bonnet

Associations: Shawn Dunn / Elysium | Ghoul

A constant fixture of the club Elysium, John is one of two ghouls that serve Shawn Dunn as bouncers. John and Samantha are married, working the club to protect the secret entrances to the caverns below. They also identify club goers who might make a nice snack for the kindred below ground.

Ruth "Madam Ruth" Maccarone

Associations: Laura Perez | Ghoul

One of Laura Perez's two ghouls, Madam Ruth is a local Austin fixture and serves as the public face for the psychic business.

Oscar Perez

Associations: Margaret Silver | Ghoul

No relation to Laura Perez, Oscar was tasked with the assassination of Laura Perez. To do so, he hijacked an excavator and demolished the front half of her house, which opened up her room, causing her to burn in the sun.

Oscar has received some kind of mental conditioning from whoever controls him. His legal expensese are being paid for by Margaret Silver.

Susan Ford

Associations: Vissarion Karahalios / Raphael Fox | Ghoul

One of Prince Vissarion's ghouls. Susan seems to run the Prince's schedule and has his list of contacts. Since Prince Vissarion final death, Susan was gifted to Raphael Fox by the new Prince Antigone. She has one point in Celerity and 3 dots in Intelligence and 3 dots in Technology.

Genivieve "Ginny" McCoy

Associations: Rannulf / US Army (formerly) | Ghoul

An Afghanistan/Iraq War veteran (Sergeant) who got cancer from the burn pits. Was offered the chance to become a ghoul bound to Rannulf. Gained 1 dot in Obfuscate (Cloak of Shadows). Asked to build a squad of mortals to function as an army for Pickle Pete.

Szlachta / Hunter Ghoul

Associations: Caslav | Ghoul

A type of war ghoul augmented through Vicissitude. Hunter Ghouls have elongated arms, legs, and necks paired with sharp teeth and claws. They are also believed to have enhanced senses. The Hunter Ghouls encountered in Austin were branded.

Special: When crafted for war, the rituals imbue the bone spurs of the szlachta with properties equivalent to Feral Weapons. Some szlachta with especially ruthless conditioning are effectively immune to mind-bending powers and Disciplines such as Dominate or Presence. 

Prudence Thatcher

Associations: St. Edwards University | Awakened

The resident mage of St. Edward's University, Professor Thatcher is a brook-no-bullshit classics professor and an awakened mage who is a member of the Order of Hermes.

Professor Thatcher assisted the coterie with a magic potion to track the Abomination. Professor Thatcher has used the Abomination's teeth to craft weapons to fight supernatural foes. She is also in possession of personal knowledge of a Bane Blade, a type of lupine weapon bound to a war spirit.

She has a homunculus named Billy that pretends to be a fat and sassy possum.

Johnathan

Associations: Jasper Graham | Awakened?

What little is known about Johnathan is that he is A) Jasper's boyfriend and B) some kind of entity. He could be an Awakened mage or something else, nobody is really sure. Even looking at or thinking about Johnathan produces some kind of effect on kindred akin to being seriously inebriated. Nobody really remembers conversations with him or can readily describe what he looks like. When Johnathan is physically close to Jasper, the effect covers the both of them. At the end of the war for the Principality, Johnathan was meeting with Reuben Vega and his ghoul Dan Patrick.

Johnathan is a Fallen, specifically Radueriel of House Neberu. When he takes his apocalyptic form he chooses Shamash, he is ethereally beautiful with hypnotic patterns of light spilling from him. 

Stephen "Steve Goodhair" Barber

Associations: Pete Boggman / Raphael  Fox

A gulf war veteran who fell on hard times and now lived rough in the streets of Austin, Steve Goodhair is one of Pete Boggman's "associates". He and two other homeless men were sent to an industrial location supposedly owned by "Margaret Silver" to scope it out. They all ran afoul of Mr. Eun-baem, who bit and turned them into venom wights.

Later, Steve's lighter was discovered, which enabled Raphael Fox to summon his ghost.

Felipa Cortez

Clan: Ventrue | Affiliation: Camarilla | Generation: 12th | Status: Final Death

Reuben Vega's second in command and lover. Felipa was captured by Antigone, had her limbs chopped off to make her pliant and then was interrogated by the PCs. She was beheaded by Herschel. When her spirit was summoned by Raphael after her death, she manifested instantly as a powerful and angry wraith, attacking the party.
