🤠 About the Competition

DATE: Saturday 17th October 9:00am-4:00pm at Nowra School of Arts, Social 6:00pm-9:00pm

When the final line dancing competition of the season was cancelled, we knew we couldn't let the year end without giving our dancers one last opportunity to do what they love.

So, we decided to create our own.

The Nowra Honky Tonk Line Dancing Competition was born from a simple idea, to provide a fun, friendly and encouraging competition where dancers of all ages and abilities could step onto the dance floor, perform with confidence and celebrate their love of line dancing.

This isn't about pressure or perfection. It's about creating opportunities, building confidence, making memories and bringing our incredible line dancing community together.

We also wanted to open the doors to other line dancing clubs and groups, giving dancers from across the region the chance to connect, cheer each other on and enjoy a fantastic day of country music, dancing and community spirit.

Whether you're competing for the very first time or you're an experienced competitor, you'll be welcomed with smiling faces, supportive crowds and an atmosphere that celebrates every dancer who steps onto the floor.

Our competition is all about:

We can't wait to welcome you to the inaugural Nowra Honky Tonk Line Dancing Competition and hope this becomes a celebration of the amazing line dancing community we've built together.

Entry to spectate the competition is $15 per adult & $5 per child. Competition fee covers competitiors entry!
