1. Please read attached document titled "E-Learning 1-23-26 Farm Dakota & Traditional Dakota".  Read here and see picture here. 

2. On a blank sheet of paper please write down your response to the following questions:  

• After reading, compare and contrast the Farm Dakota and Traditional Dakota.  Explain similarities and differences.

• Look at the attachment titled "Farm Dakota".  What evidence of traditional Dakota culture do you see?  What evidence is there of the Dakota adopting some European American ways?

• 3. Bring paper back to school on Monday! 

5th Grade Directions:

2. Read the attachment titled: "E-Learning 1-23-26 Townshend Acts" 

• Read attachment here. 

3. Answer the following questions on a sheet of paper: 

• Please write a 1-2 sentence summary of what the "Townshend Acts" were.

• What does "No taxation without representation" mean and WHY did this anger the colonists? 

• How might you include the "Townshend Acts" in your iMovie Trailer?  Be specific and think about props you could make!
