Welcome to TV Remote Control. These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the rules and conditions that apply when you download, install, or use the TV Remote Control application ("App") and related services provided by NovaApps LTD ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the App immediately.
TV Remote Control is a mobile application that allows you to operate compatible smart TVs (including Samsung, LG, Android TV, Roku, Vizio, and other supported brands) directly from your iOS device over a local Wi-Fi network.
The App is intended for users aged 4 and older. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of legal consent in your jurisdiction, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
We strive to keep the App available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
The App does not require you to create an account. You can begin using the App as soon as it is installed on your device.
A stable Wi-Fi connection is required for the App to communicate with your television. Both your mobile device and TV must be connected to the same local network. We are not responsible for connectivity failures caused by your network environment, router configuration, or TV firmware.
The App offers both free and premium features. Some functionality is available only to subscribers who have purchased a premium plan.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Pricing, currency, and applicable taxes are determined by Apple based on your region and account settings.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period expires. Renewal charges are billed at the same rate as the original subscription unless otherwise communicated in advance.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:
Open Settings on your device.
Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
Select the TV Remote Control subscription and tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription.
Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds independently.
If you reside in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the transaction. By starting to use the digital content immediately, you acknowledge that you waive this right once the download or streaming begins.
All rights, title, and interest in the App — including source code, design elements, graphics, icons, text, features, and underlying technology — are owned by NovaApps LTD and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any part of the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not permit you to:
Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Distribute, sublicense, rent, or lease the App to any third party.
Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or branding.
Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the App, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, royalty-free right to use that feedback in any manner without compensation or attribution.
You agree to use the App lawfully and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or inhibit anyone else's use of the App.
You must not:
Use the App to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to televisions, networks, or systems that you do not own or have permission to control.
Introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code through or in connection with the App.
Interfere with the normal operation of the App or its infrastructure.
Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the App by automated means.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App without notice if we reasonably believe you have engaged in prohibited conduct.
The App may interact with third-party services, platforms, or devices (such as smart TV operating systems). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their performance, availability, or content.
The free version of the App may display advertisements from third-party ad networks. We do not endorse the products or services advertised and are not liable for your interactions with advertisers.
The App may contain links to external websites or resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the App's reliability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
While we support a wide range of smart TV brands and models, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device. TV manufacturers may release firmware updates that affect functionality. We are not liable for compatibility issues caused by changes outside our control.
The App relies on your local Wi-Fi network. Performance may vary depending on network conditions, router settings, and device capabilities. We disclaim liability for connection failures or degraded performance caused by external network factors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory under which liability is asserted and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NovaApps LTD, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to us or other users.
Upon termination, your license to use the App is revoked immediately. Sections related to intellectual property, liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NovaApps LTD regarding your use of the App.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. This does not affect mandatory consumer protection rights available under the laws of your country of residence.
