This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how NovaApps LTD ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the TV Remote Control application ("App"). By installing or using the App, you accept the practices outlined below. If you disagree, please uninstall the App.
We do not require account registration. The App operates locally on your device and communicates directly with smart TVs on your home network. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or payment credentials directly — any purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.
To maintain and improve the App, certain technical data is gathered automatically when you interact with it:
Device Details: Model, operating system version, screen size, preferred language, and time zone.
Network Indicators: IP address, connection type (Wi-Fi or cellular), and carrier name. This data helps diagnose connectivity issues with supported TV devices.
Advertising Identifiers: Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), collected only after you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Usage Metrics: Session duration, features accessed, screens viewed, button interactions, and crash reports.
Subscription Status: Whether a valid subscription exists, managed through our payment provider.
We do not record the content displayed on your television.
We do not capture audio, video, or screen recordings from your device or your TV.
We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone unless a specific feature (such as voice search) is actively in use, and only with your explicit permission.
We do not collect precise GPS location. Approximate location may be inferred from your IP address for analytics purposes only.
We process collected data for the following reasons:
Delivering Core Functionality: The App discovers smart TVs on your local network using standard discovery protocols. Network-related data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Improving Reliability: Crash logs and usage patterns help us identify bugs, optimize performance, and prioritize new features.
Displaying Advertisements: Non-personally-identifiable data may be shared with advertising partners to show relevant ads within the free version of the App.
Managing Subscriptions: We work with third-party providers to verify subscription status, process purchases, and detect billing issues.
Fraud Prevention and Security: Technical data may be analyzed to detect unusual activity, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law.

These providers may employ cookies, device identifiers, and similar tracking technologies. We do not govern their data handling practices and encourage you to review their respective policies.
If you wish to limit the collection of automatically processed data, you can adjust your device settings:
Advertising Identifier: Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and disable Allow Apps to Request to Track, or deny tracking permission when prompted by the App.
Analytics Data: Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements and disable Share iPhone Analytics.
Location Data: To prevent approximate location inference, you may use a VPN service. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Please note that restricting data collection may affect certain features or the quality of your experience with the App.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share data with third parties only in these circumstances:
Service Providers: Analytics, advertising, and subscription management partners listed in Section 3, solely to operate and improve the App.
Legal Obligations: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity. You will be notified of such changes.
Our service providers operate in various countries, including the United States. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable regulations.
We retain automatically collected data only for as long as it serves the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for statistical analysis.
When you uninstall the App, locally stored data on your device is removed. Data held by third-party providers is subject to their respective retention policies.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and California have additional protections under GDPR and CCPA respectively.

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information, including encryption in transit and secure storage practices. However, no system is completely immune to unauthorized access, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we will promptly delete it.
