Masters, Mixed and Senior events may be banded on CRI.
Masters, Senior and Junior events will be rowed in the following order. Events not listed will be incorporated to suit competitors as far as is practicable.
To alleviate scheduling difficulties we may be able to spread out the Masters races by inserting Junior and Senior races that follow on from the Masters boat type. Please make copious notes in BROE on any doubling-up and/or boat sharing and we will try our best to accommodate you.
Note: "Ch" events in the grid below are shorthand for Open/Women, i.e. senior events.
Every race is a straight final of 2 - 6 boats.
Eights £TBD
Fours/quads £TBD
Doubles/pairs £TBD
Singles £TBD
CANCELLATION REFUNDS : If the event is cancelled before it starts we will try to refund a proportion of the entry fee after the fixed costs of the event have been covered. Any amount withheld would be to cover unavoidable costs.
The Regatta is open to all club and composite crews.
All competitors must provide their own boats and blades.
All boats must be fitted with slots for numbers on the bows.
The draw will be made in Nottingham Rowing Club on Saturday 3rd May at 1 pm. It will be published on this website on Tuesday 6th May.
Masters and Senior events may be split into bands based upon the CRI of the crews, as well as ages in the case of Masters crews.
To accommodate races in the schedule, there may at times be "races within a race" - if this happens then crews who are racing each other will be in adjacent lanes.
The committee reserves the right to alter the list of entries to correct a mistake of the Regatta, or should it be in the best interests of racing.
Entries are available for all age categories: if it's necessary to combine age categories in order to form a race then the BR handicapping system will be used.
All competitors must be able to produce a valid BR racing licence on demand.
Coxes will be weighed before their first race in the event; coxes requiring deadweight must bring their own clearly identifiable weights.
Junior events will not be banded by CRI. The committee reserves the right to move junior crews to corresponding senior events on the basis of CRI if no appropriate junior event can be formed.
Immediately after a final, the winning crew will be instructed to proceed directly to the presentation pontoon. Be aware of condition 9 above.
