Welcome to NoteBloom! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the NoteBloom mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
NoteBloom is a shared notes app for couples. It lets two people share notes, lists, budgets, savings pots, gift ideas, little notes, drawings, scratch cards, a journal and memories, and display them on their home-screen widgets.
* You sign in with your Apple ID ("Sign in with Apple").
* You can link your account with your partner's using a couple code, and unlink at any time.
* You must be at least 15 years old to use the App.
* You may not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or to track someone without their consent. Location sharing must be turned on by each partner, freely.
2. NoteBloom Pro and Payments
The App is free to use. NoteBloom Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features (live drawing, photos in the journal, all widgets, AI tools, and more).
* Plans: weekly and monthly auto-renewable subscriptions. The weekly plan may include a free trial for new subscribers.
* One subscription covers both partners, as long as they are linked in the App.
* Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
* The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings.
* Refunds are handled by Apple. We do not access or store your payment information.
* The price and length of each plan are shown in the App before purchase.
3. AI Features
Some Pro features use artificial intelligence to create or rework notes. AI-generated text may contain mistakes: please review it before relying on it, especially amounts and dates. AI features have a daily usage limit to keep the service fair for everyone.
4. Third-Party Services
The App relies on trusted third-party services:
* Supabase – to store and sync your data.
* OpenAI – to power the AI features.
* RevenueCat – for subscription management.
* Expo – to send notifications.
* Apple – for Sign in with Apple, payments, speech recognition and notifications.
These services have their own Terms and Privacy Policies. Your use of subscriptions is also governed by Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
5. User Content
Everything you write, draw or upload remains your property. You allow us to store it and share it with your linked partner only to make the App work. You are responsible for the content you create.
6. Intellectual Property
All app content, design, and branding are the property of NoteBloom. You may not copy, redistribute, or modify any part of the App without permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running at all times, but we cannot guarantee it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, device issues, or damages arising from the use of the App. We recommend exporting your data from time to time (in the App: Us two › Privacy › Export my data).
8. Termination
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time (in the App: Us two › My account › Delete my account). We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If a change is important, we will let you know in the App. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law.
