The short version

Notch is built to be private by design. Everything you record in Notch — your habits, journal entries, moods, streaks, reminders, and settings — stays on your device. We do not have an account system, we do not run servers that store your data, and we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. We have no analytics and no advertising.

What we collect

Nothing. Notch does not collect any personal or usage data. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profile. We never see your habits or journal entries — they never leave your phone.

Where your data lives

All content you create in Notch is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. It is not backed up to us, synced to a cloud, or transmitted anywhere by the app. If you uninstall Notch, this data is removed by Android along with the app. We keep no copy, because we never had one.

Permissions the app uses

• Notifications (optional) — used only to show the habit reminders you set up. Reminders are scheduled and fire entirely on your device; nothing is sent to us. You can disable them anytime in the app or in Android settings.

• Run reminders after restart (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) — lets your scheduled reminders survive a device reboot. No data is collected through this.

Notch does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage access for your personal files.

Features that involve other apps or Google Play

A few optional actions hand off to other apps or to Google Play. When you use them, that service's own terms and privacy policy apply — not ours — and we still receive no personal data:

• Share — when you tap share, Android's share sheet lets you send a streak/recap image to an app you choose. You control what is shared and with whom. The image is generated on your device.

• Rate / Check for updates — these open Google Play (the in-app review prompt and the store listing), which are operated by Google.

• Send feedback — opens your email app with a draft to tukracraft.app@gmail.com. If you choose to email us, we receive what you write plus your device model and Android version (which we include so we can help). Sending is entirely your choice.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children

Notch is not directed to children under 13. Because the app collects no data, it gathers no information from anyone, including children.

Data deletion

Since your data lives only on your device, you can delete all of it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling Notch. There is nothing for us to delete on our end.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected before or when they take effect.
