Copies of these notarial marriage records may be obtained by the parties named in the marriage record. Copies will also be issued pursuant to a court order or subpoena, at the request of the Executive Office of the Governor, and under other special circumstances (on a case-by-case basis).
For official/legal purposes, we recommend obtaining a certified copy of the official marriage record from the Florida Bureau of Vital Statistics, or from the Clerk of Circuit Court who issued the original marriage license. The notarial marriage records described on this page are provided for personal and genealogical uses only.

Two different types of record copies are available for each marriage:
A REGISTER COPY is a computer-generated certificate containing the parties' names and residences, the date, time and place of marriage, witness names (if recorded), notarial fees, and recording data. The register copy generally includes more information than the book copy. The fee for a register copy is $5, which includes a commemorative certificate of the marriage.
Fees may be waived based on special circumstances (on a case-by-case basis).
A BOOK COPY is a photocopy of the original handwritten journal entry relating to the marriage. The book copy generally does not include the place of marriage, witness names, or recording data. Marriages solemnized between 2/14/2013 and 2/25/2017 were recorded in duplicate - in the Official Journal of Notarial Acts, and in the "N.P. Marriage Book". Copies from the "N.P. Marriage Book" are included only if specifically requested. The fee for a book copy is $10. Book copies require additional processing time.
Fees may be waived based on special circumstances (on a case-by-case basis).
All notarial acts performed by Robert T. Koehler, Notary Public, are recorded permanently in an Official Journal of Notarial Acts. Copies of entries in the journal may be obtained by the parties named in the entry, upon presentation of identification. Copies will also be issued pursuant to a court order or subpoena, and at the request of the Executive Office of the Governor.
The person requesting the copy must provide all known information concerning the notarization, including the approximate date, names of parties, and description of the document or proceeding. Entries dated 6/29/2010 through 5/29/2012 require additional processing time as the records are not digitized and must be produced manually. The fee for a copy of a journal entry is $10.
