WELCOME!

Hello parents and welcome to the 25-26 school year! I'm Alaina Crawford your new third grade teacher and I am very excited be back in Colorado following my passions for teaching young elementary students. A little bit about myself, I am native of Colorado, born and raised in the Douglas County School District. In fact I attended Eldorado elementary and got my high school diploma from Thunder Ridge. It is a special opportunity to give back to the district that was crucial in building my love of learning. I continued my education at the University of Colorado Boulder (SKOOO BUFFS) receiving my bachelor's degree. Then moved to pursue my masters in Elementary School Education at NYU. 

Outside of my passions of teaching, I enjoy snowboarding, reading, yoga and cheering on my brother's basketball games. Family holds a special place in my heart, and my journey in education began at the age of 14 when I started assisting in a friend's third-grade classroom. I'm deeply committed to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for your child, and I look forward to making a positive impact on their educational journey.
