The Northeast States 4-H Speak Up Fest is an annual virtual event designed to empower youth ages 13-19 from across the Northeastern United States to enhance and showcase their communication skills. Organized through a collaborative effort among 4-H programs in the region, the event provides a supportive platform for young people to engage in public speaking.

Participants are selected based on their performance in state-level 4-H public speaking events, representing states including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Every participant arrives having already earned their spot. This isn't the starting line - it's a celebration of how far these young people have come, and a launchpad for where they're headed. From agriculture and science to personal narratives and creative storytelling, speakers bring topics they genuinely care about, and the results are consistently inspring.
